Die Hard Trilogy II

"Throughout Die Hard, you will find it interspersed with movie quotes, which sound somewhat like Bruce Willis. Overall, it could be considered a cheap shot at the movie. If anything, DHT2 will make fans of the popular movie series want to escape the terrible nightmare that they will think they are in! DHT2 fails to deliver in almost every possible category, including gameplay, control, graphics, and sound."

"When you divide your energies between three different efforts, the end result generally proves to be one of mediocrity. Fortunately, this is not the case with Die Hard Trilogy 2, although it is unquestionably afflicted with its share of problems. The lack of a cohesive save system and its subsequently near-endless repetition mar what is an otherwise highly playable and engaging jaunt into the mile-a-minute world that is John McClane. While this action-packed title may appeal to fans of a variety of genres, those with little patience need not apply."

"Admittedly, Die Hard Trilogy 2 doesn’t have enormous aspirations. It’s a console-esque twitcher in three parts: 3rd-person action adventure, driving, and rail shooter. It supports (and requires) 3D acceleration and 3D sound, looks reasonably attractive, and functions reasonably well. It’s also budget priced at under $30 generally."

"The problem is that pure action games are a dime a dozen on the PC, and it’s a shame that Fox Interactive didn’t bother to make this sequel anything more than a second-thought port over of the PlayStation version. With a sharper engine and more developed gameplay, this could have been a game worthy of a whole slew of new Die Hard movie sequels. As it is, though, it dies pretty easily."

"The only redeeming factor of this game is the featured Whoopass soda, which I've tried and really enjoyed. Die Hard Trilogy 2 was made for the arcade and Fox Interactive should've left it alone there, and not ported it to the PC. I say avoid this game like the plague and find other action-filled games out there. There are tons of them to choose from."
