Background

Day of Defeat offers intense online action gameplay set in Europe during WWII. DoD:S features enhanced graphics and sounds design to leverage the power of Source, Valve's new engine technology.

Gameplay

Players connect to a server online, or create their own. Once connected, the player can choose which side to play on. (U.S. Army, Germans, or Spectator.) Players can assume the role of infantry, sniper, machine-gunner classes, and more.
