"When you recover a crucial piece of evidence, you are treated to a cut scene showing how that evidence might have a bearing on the case at hand. This is always done well, and is probably the highlight of the game."

Hard Evidence offers few surprises and even fewer challenges throughout its five undemanding murder mysteries.
Having reviewed a CSI game several years ago, I was fairly confident I knew what to expect. And, for the most part, nothing has really changed with the franchise. This is a point-and-click adventure that requires little thought. There are some nice improvements to the interface and it's certainly more enjoyable to play around with the evidence. The real disappointments is the lackluster interrogation system and the repetition of locales. If you're a CSI fan, you're probably better off just buying the DVDs of some previous seasons. But, as a rental, this is actually enjoyable enough to play through the end.
