THE GOOD: Press involvement, possibilities to postpone matches and nag about referees and getting feed-back from your scouts and staff.
THE BAD: Championship manager 3 Update version 2. Still slow in processing games.
SUMMARY: Yet another CM3 based game, still without a 3D match engine to see if it's your tactics that work or if it's the opponent who's having a bad day. Same old boring text..
Not everything's bad though: new tactics like def./off./normal style of play create an even more realistic atmosphere. Postponing matches also comes in handy when half your team is called up for international duty plus the fact that you can now suffice with just warning a player. But that's just not good enough..
i've been playing the CM series since CM2 95/96, and it sure have grown better with time. tens of leagues (the next version should have some more, btw, it's coming out november's 10th) and realistic, well, realistic EVERYTHING, i had so many careers, i led the lowly cambridge to the premiership, led scottish celtic to european glory, avoided relegration with bradford and just started a new game with leeds, and the future is bright.
