Global warfare is raging and the battle will begin on November 8 when the cultural phenomenon Modern Warfare returns with the worldwide release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the newest installment in Activision's #1 first person action series being developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.Starting where Modern Warfare 2 finished, Modern Warfare 3 follows the series' protagonists Captains John "Soap" MacTavish and John Price on the run, while the United States is under siege from Russian forces. Accompanied by the informant Nikolai, they must flee to safety in order to lick their wounds and plan their next move.
