This is one of the oldest games I've played but for what it is, it ranks up there as one of the best. All it is, is Chess but with animations for the pieces, Each piece will destroy another in a different way depending on the various ranks. For instance, Pawns will swipe each other with swords, but if you somehow manage to kill a King with a Pawn, then the Pawn will strip the King down and steal his robe. For the time this game was released, the animations were surprisingly well done with minimal amounts of lag. Of course the graphics weren't crystal clear but they were probably the best you would find around, especially for a game that's partially in 3D
The best part about this game was the comedic element, but that it retained all the fundamentals of Chess. Everything is exactly the same, just comedied up. And if you're more traditional and don't like that then there...
