General/Summary: Absolutely Fabulous! How can anyone other than non sim or non manage gamers say they don't love this game? With great graphics and fluid gameplay, this has become a favorite in our house. It keeps you busy and offers some underhanded gameplay against your opponents when they get too full of themselves. I found this game awesome. Gameplay: You are in charge of handling your own airline while protecting it from the computer opponents. You get to manage flight schedules and take care of daily tasks with the airports regulars and business managers. The game offers the satisfaction of playing something original and new to the sim fields. An airport! Great idea!
Graphics: The graphics are remnant of early bik animations familiar to Sim players. Except these are enhanced to seem more cartoonish. I like the animation, and kudos to the animation artists. Everything just seems to blend perfectly and each opponent has been given characteristics that are unique to just them.
Sound: The music is midi to avoid any unecessary swollen system requirements and can get to you after playing it for hours on end. But that doesn't mean that you cant put your own music in and rename it to the file you replaced. If you have a good card then you get an enhanced experience. But for midis, you can't complain. Thank god they didn't use mp3s. Those things crap a system up for gameplay's sake.
THE GOOD: A great buisness sim, complex yet easy at the same time.
THE BAD: Cartoonish Graphics
SUMMARY: This game is great. I just love it. Alot you beg to differ because of it's cartoonish graphics. That Does not mean you cant enjoy the game. This game very hard to figure out but once you figure it out its great fun. You have to carry out charter flights on time, Plan routs correctly, keep personnel happy, and keep planes in a good condition. I think this game is worth buying.
THE GOOD: Good businees sim. Attractive, cute graphics.
THE BAD: Attractive, cute graphics.
SUMMARY: The game tries too hard to satisfy 2 opposing goals, to be a good business simulation and to be appealing to the mass market. If you're into serious sims the interface is maddening and "in the way". If your looking for a "fun" sim like RollerCoaster Tycoon (the graphics lead you to think it will be) then the business side is way too complex. If the product had a simpler business model to go with the interface or an interface to match the simulation then we'd have something. Actually, both approaches could be in the same game and be controlled by a user preference setting.
