AD&D: Pool of Radiance

Background

The city of Phlan, once a glorious city of wealth and power, lies in ruins. As a daring adventurer, you take it upon yourself to rebuild the city and restore its reputation, but first you must assemble your traveling party. You can choose from a number of races and skill sets to create your characters, so be sure to find a good balance of powerful warriors and magical wizards if you want to be successful. As you set out on your journey, you must find the mythical Pool of Radiance, which is rumored to give amazing strength to those who bathe in it. On your quest, you'll come across all kinds of unique characters, some helpful and some that want to fight. As your characters develop, you'll gain more knowledge, strength and magic powers that you'll need against some of the more menacing enemies you'll come across. Gather up all your strength and courage, and get ready to embark on the search for the Pool of Radiance.
