Zenfar

THE BAD:
needs scrolling, length of game, needs more background

SUMMARY:
Though Zenfar may not be upto the technology standards of a Diablo II or Quake III, it represents a good effort by an independent with little backing (check out the Dynamic Adventures Website). Zenfar has good character development and great potential (would really like to see this game developed with some financial backing). I also liked that the game ran without a hitch and was fun to play. I look forward to Dynamic Adventure's next effort and I encourage others to support independent programmers.

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
Zenfar is a good basic CRPG, it is cleary a value title at under $20. I found it more entertaining than Diakatana. It ran on my PII 333 without any problems. The choice of weapons and skills were cool and it is in general fun to play.

THE BAD:
Graphics, gameplay, rpg terminology, controls, interface, sound, music. Let's see, just about everything I guess.

SUMMARY:
Although I didn't physically puke once, I believe that was because I had to become so stoned that I couldn't see straight in order to stop from becoming violent with my computer after playing this game.

Unless you enjoy jumping naked in pools full of double edged razor blades, I would reccomend against playing this game.

I've had rectal examinations more pleasant than this game.

It's unoriginal, pathetic at best, and to call it a pile of dogcrap would be an insult to my dog, and his crap.

THE BAD:
Graphics, Controls, Sound, Gameplay, Scripting, Story, RPG Ruleset, the fact I wasn't paid to play this crap

SUMMARY:
To quote a friend..."Playing this game is like having three heart attacks in the same time, while having my ass reamed by a donkey."

Graphics: The graphics are top-notch quality. For about 5 years ago. Now they're cartoony, blocky and generally shitty. So much for suspension of Disbelief.

Musical Score/Sounds: Annoying, repetative, Annoying, poorly-coded, annoying.

Story/Scripting: WTF? Did you just take out scrabble tiles & randomly scatter them for naming things? And what the *bleep* is a Denod?

All in all, I'd rather be *bleep*ed in the ass by an elephant than be forced to play this game.

THE BAD:
It is all good.

SUMMARY:
OK, so I am a little bias in my review, since I created the game. But we worked hard to create an original story that is something new and original when compared with all of the fantasy CRPGs that are out there.
