EverQuest

Everquest. A lot of people have complaints. I have a number of beefs too. A lot of people are heavily addicted. I find that sickening and pathetic. Many people enjoy it. So do I. Let me tell you how I see it all.
The first thing about it that bugs me is a certain corporation's greediness. Perhaps the corporation that has produced the game. It seems to me that charging $50 to perform a simple copy and paste operation such as moving a character to a different server is a little bit much. Also, the need to pay for your account on a monthly basis is irritating. Some other good online games (Blizzard's numerous titles come to mind) offer this service free of charge. Further, the additional expansions and the prices thus introduced are quite aggravating. I don't know how much they're charging for Luclin (released two or so days ago from when this was written), but on top of Velious and Kunark, it is rather a surprising total.

THE GOOD:
I played this game at a friends house, and watched him play alot too, we both loved it. The graphics, the fighting, the endless places to explore, people to meet, and things to do! Fighting, quests, looking for places, and things, it was all so neat! Of course, it's even more fun when I try to interact alot with other people online, because, sadly, if it weren't for them, the game wouldn't have been as good.

THE BAD:
The game really didn't have the best graphics, the music could've been better, and of course, creating characters should've added more options. As a whole, I wish this game had been more expanded, and offered more options, but it was okay. Not interacting with other people can make the game alot more boring. if not for players, the game alone would've been dull as dirt.

SUMMARY:
In total this was and still is a great game, anyone that's a fan of the series, or just likes the genre but doesn't have this, should definitly...

THE GOOD:
Graphics, PvP system, locations, community, challenge,

THE BAD:
Ogres and Trolls look somewhat...stupid. Although they are litterally mentally stupid, they should at least look a bit more....solid. Not a big deal though. Once you get used to it, these two races ar viewed with much respect, as all the others are.(Except humans, human monks are the only humans to get respect)
