THE BAD: Difficult to manage, even more difficult enjoy
SUMMARY: This looks like a fun, comic, game with good, nice intro's. Having gone through the startup I was actually really looking forward to it.
However, it reintroduces that which I hoped had long been dismissed by designers: this game is micro-management at it's worst!
Every decision in the game must be made by you - and you have to constantly scan for creatures who might need a career choosing; have experience points that need allocating, need a trade route setting up (particularluy confusing) or need to be allocated to fish in a different pond. Could have been promising, but far too tedious to be truly playable.
THE BAD: the load time. I have a 1 gigahertz .18 micron thunderbird with 650 megs of ram, 32 meg video card, and 120 gigs of hard drive space. This game took soooo long loading that I actually had time to eat a bowl of cereal before it finished loading.
SUMMARY: this is rediculous, i mean it took this game longer than a PS2 in order to load up. My machine kicks major booty for being one year old, and it says it needs a 233 P2 (or somewhere near that) I tried running it on my K62 366 notebook with 64 megs of ram (required 32, recommended 64) and it took it 26 minutes to load the game. This is very unacceptable for any product. You guys need to either increase the performance of your product, or just stop making games.
THE GOOD: What is the good, ha? Almost everything!!! Detailed graphics, fluent gameplay, music and storyline!
THE BAD: The only negative thing- too long. The second- multiplayer.
SUMMARY: The graphics are very cute- the secenery is very much detailed, people look different and houses are almost unbelievable! Music- there very good song along with some a little boring, but overall it is a hundred percent for the good. Gameplay is fluent, story is great and what more can I say? BUY IT!
