Civilization III: Play the World

Background

This major expansion for Civilization III will include full multiplayer support, eight additional civilizations, and new map and terrain features providing new challenges and ways to play for veteran and novice Civilization game players around the world. Play The World will include three different Internet and LAN game styles, including turn-based, simultaneous, and for the first time in a Civilization game, a turnless mode.

Gameplay

Eight new civilizations including new leaders and units provide even more challenges and strategic options. A powerful Scenario Editor allows players to construct their dream scenario and share it with players from around the world. Play scenarios created by others, or build your own.
