THE GOOD: Does do a reasonable job of simulating life a a boxing manager/promoter.
THE BAD: Difficult to use. Crashes every so often, esp. after you've played a while and have a decent stable of boxers. Awful tech support.
SUMMARY: I thought this one would be good. I really like games like this, and I wanted a boxing version of a text-based GM sim for a while. It seems to offer quite a lot, and in its defense, does a reasonable job if you overlook its other problems.
The menus on this game are awkwardly set up, slow down the gameplay, and get annoying after a while. It also tended to lock up on me, especially once I'd gotten to the point where I was getting some fairly big-money fights, and that REALLY sucked. At least it could have given me those problems before I invested the time. I wrote their tech support some time ago, and never heard back from them.
For $25.99, you can do better. Maybe not a boxing sim, but you could have lots of fun playing Out of the park 3 or Front Office Football. Thats what I'll be sticking to, anyway.
