"Once the fight has been made and the fighter trained, its time for the fight itself to take place. Here, the gamer serves as the fighter's corner coach, after a fashion. You tell the fighter to go for the head or the body, fight offensively or defensively, attempt a continuous advance or a continuous retreat, and dictate their fighting style (i.e. Jab, Go for KO, or Natura, the style the fighter would normally use). The fight will resolve itself based on those variables and the ratings of the two fighters (how weak is his chin? how accurate are his punches?). You can watch this resolution through a play-by-play eerily reminiscent of that from the famed Championship Manager series for soccer. "
