THE GOOD:Excellent graphics, sound, controls, and gameplay. High replay value.
THE BAD:
Not much different from the other Mega Man games.
SUMMARY:
The 5th installment in the Mega Man NES series tries to do what MM 4 did: Keep the same tried-and-true formula in place for gameplay but also throw in a few new twists.
At first, the game seems to boast a different storyline, much like MM 4, and as you'll notice soon a few new twists have been added that help boost replay value: They added a bit of a puzzle element that rewards those who look around carefully and experiment with the available weapons.
Graphics & sound are the same as previous MM games-solid with well-detailed characters and backgrounds. There still are some problems with flicker & slowdown when lots of characters are onscreen or when there are giant explosion-type effects. Controls remain near-perfect, very responsive and it's easy to switch between weapons from the Pause...
