When the World Robot Expo is interrupted by a flying saucer blazing through the sky, it turns out to be more than an alien excursion. The evil Dr. Wily is piloting the craft, and armed with a mind-control machine plans to turn the city's robot population into an evil army. Mega Man, along with Rush and Beat, must now muster all of their collective strength to defeat eight of Wily's metallic masters and countless mechanical troops.
