Gradius

Background

One of the true classics of the arcade scene, Gradius returns, only this time for the Nintendo Entertainment System. One of the few games released between 1985-86, Gradius uses a unique graphics engines that sets apart the spaceships and bosses from everything else. Gradius is also considered to be right up there with other great series' by Konami like Castlevania and Contra. Gradius is a side-scrolling shooter which puts you in the role of a cadet trying to shoot everything in its path in order to reach the ultimate destination.
