SUMMARY:
All i got to say is WOW!!! This game is wayyy Better than 1942. It is just really Really Addictive and fun, but ya gotta tap fast to win, And it is a bit challenging but who cares it is Awesome... This has got to be the Best Shooter for the NES, now i know many disagrees with that but play this game , if you havent already, and see what i mean it is totally coolfast action.. 1942 has downfalls like you shoot slow and so on, and this game you can take em out easily if you tap fast enough... Give this game a try , its the best shooter i've played on the NES yet.Well plane shooter that is . Well im not even gonna talk about the graphics that much i mean this is a NES game and everyon knows the graphics back then was so-so but so what, the only diffrence is the graphics in this one is a bit better than 1942. Highly addictive game here so beware before ya start playing it. 1942, ohh yeah! They were into the whole sequel thing back then. Just like 1942, you scroll up and blast everything in your path with your old style plane. This game just built on and refined the formula. I remember seeing a noticeable improvement in the visuals on this one.

Just like before, you take on the world and collect powerups along the way. Take-em-down baby! The music is just one of those memorable things you can get stuck in your head. If you missed out on this series, then you did actually miss out. Don’t go playing knock-offs, come here for the Real Deal. This one's great for when you have some time to kill. Unfortunately, my cartridge has the habit of glitching out on the second island, so I haven't really been able to get that far, but for the 20 minutes or so I could play it, it managed to keep everyone's attention on the TV.

Sound and graphics are old school fare, and as they should be, the enemy's planes are all very similar. As I mentioned before, my cartridge like to glitch out, giving me very odd looking clouds and such. But what can you expect when it had been sitting outside for how many years? (In a box in a shed, mind you, so it wasn't directly exposed to the elements. But winters get darn cold in Canada.)

If you're looking for an old school scrolling shooter, grab this one. Even though it's probably impossible to find now.

Good old NES, never let me down.
