THE GOOD: You can change player names. You can choose any team (except Wales). World Cup mode is fun.
THE BAD: Its too easy to score.
SUMMARY: This is the best football game on playstation. The graphics are great and the goalies are better than on FIFA 98. You can change the course of World Cup history ( I can get revenge for Scotland losing 2-1 against Brazil). I brought World Cup 98 in Glasgow for £9.99 and its worth the money! The commentary is by John Motson and Chris Waddle. The only negative is its too easy to score.
THE GOOD: All the World Cup teams. Historic World Cup matches. The music. The commentaries. The rarity of this game now in 2001. 4-players on one computer. Difficulty settings.
THE BAD: No support for newer 3-D cards, but still stable in Direct 3D; you just get an error message.
SUMMARY: Like the Fifa series, the World Cup is the number one sports event in the universe! It has been said that during the World Cup the world's economy goes down up to 3%.
Join the holligans! Play this landmark soccer game that surpasses today's Fifa 2000 and 2001. Madly addicting.
Trying to make a reinaction of the actual World Cup is a REAL challenge. Try doing Davor Suker's high point on goals, on World Class difficulty. Or Michael Owen's 5 second rush across the field and scoring a goal. Or Zidane's two head butts in the final versus Brazil. Try getting a goal pass the French goalie: Bartez, without using Paraguay.
