THE GOOD: Powerful Graphics for an N64 game Fun to play Great StoryTHE BAD: lack of cinemas SUMMARY: Great combat game, but that's half the fun though. You can just ride around destroying the environments or play around with the disasters. Fun to cause waves at the orange grove or have a big bomber chase you at the airfield. The characters are very amusing and the vehicles are all cool.
Nice assortment of weapons that range from powerful and inaccurate to weak and sure hits. The game is fun in single player, but it's really fun with a friend or two. A good game even though it's outdated now, I still pop it in for a fun hour or 2.

THE GOOD: Exclusive N64 bonus level 'Y' the alien in story modeTHE BAD: The lack of FMV movies for the N64. SUMMARY: I will compare this game to the PSX version. The FMV movies in the PSX version are nicer than the slide show that the N64 version has. Still I liked the N64 version better because 'Y' the alien has a story, and there is also a level exclusive to the N64 which is pretty cool.
Now let's talk about the game. The concept is to blow up all of the enemy cars with whatever weapons you can get. Sound Easy? It is if you know what you are doing. Using special weapons and secret weapons(no they're not the same)will lead you to an easy victory in both single player and multi-player modes. Knowing what dangers are in each level also can lead you to an easy victory.
Bottom Line:
Get it if you like blowing things up. |
