THE BAD:
The animation is a bit choppy, but they had to make some sacrifice, I guess, to make up for other things, like the elaborate detail, or the huge amount of useless and misleading items you will end up lugging around.
SUMMARY:
I wish action freaks would stop playing this game and giving it bad reviews. Just because it doesn't require a great deal of dexterity or cat-like reflexes, that doesn't make it lame.
There is some great puzzle solving and story-line filling in this game. Believe it or not, one of my favorite parts was the reading. I think the game was a little short and a little limited in things that you could do.
SUMMARY:
Probably one of the best games I have ever played. I think a part two to this story would sell like crazy and would also be really awsome, so keep that in mind all you game designers out there. And if a miricle did happen and a part two did come out some suggestions for it might be to make the story a little longer, or to have more areas or secrets that you can acsses (pretty much just a whole new castle, village exc.). But no matter what happens I'll always enjoy the mystery, secrets, and excitement of Shadow Gate 64.
