My favorite part of this game was the connectability with the original generation of Pokemon games [Red, Blue, and Yellow]. The AI was stepped up nicely to provide an excellent challenge in a series of strategic gems, especially with a variety of different strategies that were needed to complete the four Cup tournaments and the Gym Leader Castle.
I would definitely play this game again if I got the chance; if this game gets re-released on VC, then they better attach Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow versions to this game as well.
The only real complaint that I had with this game is that the Transfer Pak was a little too sensitive; even a very slight shift in the position of the transfer pak would cause a game malfunction. While that was rectified before the release of Pokemon Stadium 2, it was still an unnecessary hassle to deal with. |
