THE GOOD:
Highly addicting first-person shooting gameplay
A decent range of weapons
Character models look good
Soundtrack is catchy
Sound effects are realistic and well done enough
Tight controls

THE BAD:
Lagging problems
You need an expansion pack to play this, so there shouldn't be a reason for lag
Some of the color schemes are questionable
Feels inferior to Goldeneye

SUMMARY:
So this is the fabled Perfect Dark I've been hearing about...It is quite a fun game to play and if you liked Goldeneye, you'll like this game too... Well, let's get right to it!

To begin with, you're exploring some sort of lab and find yourself armed with a pistol right in front of you. Hmm...let's investigate the situation. Apparently, there's this alien invasion, and it's up to you, Joanna Dark, to take down all the aliens before the invasion succeeds and destroys the world or something of that nature...You have to...

THE GOOD:
This game has a HUGE variety of weapons you can use. Everything from your standard pistol guns and submachine rifles, to alien sharpshooters and deadly maulers. In addition, there's also, TONS of levels you can fight on for multiplayer. All well designed! The missions are also awesome. Great storyline.

THE BAD:
Graphics are a little substandard, even for an N64 game. Colors just aren't the right shade. The control is a little weak. Also, kind of a poor replay value.

SUMMARY:
Overall, this is a must buy! This is definitely the best shooter for the N64, maybe even the best overall game for the system! If you like freaky cool weapons, like neutron bombs and guns that can shoot through walls, you absolutely MUST have this game! Also, I don't know how much this game costs, but probably in excess of $25. It is a VERY good game that all N64 owners should have!

THE GOOD:
Loads of missions with 3 difficulty levels, it will be a long time before you complete this
Unlockable cheats which are fun to use and a challenge to unlock
There's endless fun to be had in the combat simulator
There's a training mode to ease you in gently
First game on the N64 to feature a full voice script
Graphics are excellent for the time it was released
A BIG variety of weapons, some of them are very fun to use
Lots of gadgets
Intelligent enemies

THE BAD:
You will need an expansion pack to make this game worthwhile
Game suffers from slowdown occasionally, like when there are 4 human players and 8 simulants in the combat simulator with explosions going off

SUMMARY:
This is one brilliant game. 5 years on and I'm STILL playing it. There is endless fun to be had. There are lot's of missions with 3 difficulty levels, the highest one is very hard. The missions are set in a variety of...

To be honest, I've been waiting for this game since I heard about it long ago. I mean, a pumped up ''sequel'' to Goldeneye? DROOL.

Now that it's finally released, I can't help but notice that the magic just doesn't seem to be there. After playing much superior shooters like Half-Life and Unreal Tournament, Perfect Dark's Deathmatch really doesn't hold much interest for me.

The game's one-player mode proved to be quite fun however, as all the tense mission-completing mania that was in Goldeneye is retained, but I suffered extreme bouts of boredom and frustration throughout. Some of the missions were outright boring, consisting mostly of 'go here, get this, then go here.' I think games have progressed a bit past 'fetch' you know? Also, the enemies die WAY too easy on all difficulty levels. You should have no reason to fear a group of enemies rushing you as long as you have one of the game's many fully automatics and a couple clips of ammo. *tatatat*, and you're...

THE GOOD:
Excellent graphics & sound. Fast-paced action. Almost endless multiplayer customization. Realistic gameplay-when you're punched, you'll be dizzy for a while!

THE BAD:
You must have an N64 Expansion Pak to even access some play modes. High difficulty level, even on easy skill levels.

SUMMARY:
Rare's sequel to Goldeneye was one of those N64 games that seemed like it would defy expectations. It certainly looks good enough to-much attention was paid to detail in the graphics, down to details in the character's faces & outfits, as well as bullet holes that stick around after you've shot a weapon. Sounds are excellent as well, and there's a lot of spoken dialogue both in game and cutscenes-it's funny when you shoot someone and they're like "Geez!", of when dying they'll be like "Why...Me?" It's also realistic-when you get punched a few times your vision appears blurry like it would in real-life!
As good as single player is,...

THE GOOD:
1.AMAZING weaponry. Each and every gun or gadget has a secondary function which adds a huge amount of fun, especially in multiplayer mode. (Not to mention being able to hold and fire 2 pistols or submachine guns at the same time.)
2.AWESOME environments. Level designs are very detailed(not to mention cool) and often HUGE.
3.GREAT storyline. I thought the storline was extremely good. When Mr. Blonde's true nature was revealed I was like "gasp" THUD!
4."PERFECT" cheats and secrets. Invincibilty, cloaking device, infinite ammo, no reloads, enemy rockets, the list goes on and on.
5.SUPERB co-op/counter-op. THis mode is for those who could use some back up in the single player missions. You and a friend can play as a team or, even better, as enemies in the story mode. THe game even includes computerized buddies for those who don't have friends who live nearby.
6.ASTONISHINGLY GOOD graphics(for a 64.)
7.EXTRA challenges. So you've beaten the game on...

THE GOOD:
This is by far the best game ever! Best thing about it is that it's multiplayer is the best ever! Even if you don't have friends with you, you can kill sims! Also when you put in the dark sims...It is intense to say the least!

THE BAD:
One mission you save a talking laptop

SUMMARY:
This game is the best FPS ever made. It has a nice 1 player, but the best part of the game is the multiplayer! You can even have you own profile in the multiplayer that tells how good you are. For people who don't have friends it is awsome! You can add sims (Up to 8) for you to kill. You can adjust their skill level, and you can customise them like you can your caractor! Awsome Awsome! A Must have game. You can get it for cheap now, so go out and buy it! It is truly worth your money

THE GOOD:
-Great Weapons
-Great Arena's
-Great Longativity
-Great Multiplayer!!!
-Great Storyline
-Great Missions
-Great Difficulty
-Cool Unlockable Things
-And Much More...

THE BAD:
It may get frustrating when you move up a difficulty and find that you can't win and you keep getting sniped in the head and dieing. You may never actually fully complete this game.

SUMMARY:
This has got to be one of my top 3 favorite games. Even years after its release, its still so fun and amazing. The multiplayer alone could be its own game. The storyline has got to be one of the best I have been privalaged to see. The difficulties are great. The weapons are so cool. The arena's are wicked. What else can I say? If you don't own this game and you have an N64, get it now fool! If you don't have an N64, get the game anyway. Its just that good.

THE GOOD:
The weapons were absolutely fantastic.
The missions were pretty damn good as well.
The AI of the bots in multiplayer was exceptional.

THE BAD:
No bad to really speak of.

SUMMARY:
The storyline was really good in my opinion. The gameplay was really good. This is an excellent game, if you can get it you need it now.

The multiplayer can have up to 16 bots playing and if you have 4 people to play you can have 20 players at once. You can change the bots personalities but not just skill but speed and what they do the most. One is peace bot who will disarm you and then run off with your gun. There is speed bod who runs really fast adn its hard to shoot him. The levels for multiplayer are also really good.

If you have the expansion pack then you can actualy play the main misisons, which has a sort of complicated story line but not that bad.

Also you can do VR training and there is a shooting range...

THE GOOD:
Music
Speed
Lots of Arena's
Lots og Guns
Lots of difficulties for the sims
Can play up to 4 players and 8 sims
You can play up to 400 Team points or 200 individual points.
Graphics
Lots of characters.
You can play 2 player one player. (Co-operative)
You can create custom games.
Lots of cheats

THE BAD:
Like Nothing!

SUMMARY:
In the first level its easy but it gets harder as it goes on. The longest level is Skeder Ruins. And its the hardest at the end becaus eof the boss. The Boss has a Slayer (A rocket launcher looking thing that you can stear the missles). While you only have Reapers (A gun that shoots 200 bullets at a time), Maulers (guns that aliens use), and other guns in the game.

During the game you come in contact with aliens, such as elvis who tries to help you during the game. Same with another guy.

Another reason why you should get this game is...
