NFL Blitz 2000

THE BAD:
Poor graphics & choppy frame rate. Saving & Loading data using Controller Pak is too complicated.

SUMMARY:
Although the game's title is "2000", it's more a port of 99 with some of 2000's features. For those unfamiliar with the franchise, Blitz is no-rules smash mouth football where Pass Interference & late hits are OK and encouraged. This game boasts considerable improvements over it's predecessor including 4-player compatibility, "On Fire", Season Mode, and improved stat tracking.
Controls are customizable & responsive-you only have to use 3 different buttons. Sound is arcade-perfect, but graphics have some major issues. Players appear to be a little pixelated and have rough edges, and the frame rate is choppy-nowhere as smooth as the arcade version's. Also,...

THE BAD:
Cheap AI

SUMMARY:
I first played this game with a group of friends. We had a lot of fun playing this game. We really don't care much for sports games, this was an exception. The arcade like gameplay really lends itself to quick multiplayer games. This is not a simulation type football game, so there is little realism to it. If it were a sim game, the game would not have been as fun. Late hits are fun to do. Making all your friends hate you because you always make them fumble is also fun until they beat you up. The single player game is kind of fun, but it isn't all that great. The AI is really cheap. It also isn't as fun since you don't get the reactions from the computer as you do from your friends.

Bottom line:
Good for multiplayer, OK for single player.

SUMMARY:
This game is off the hook. They will be powerboming trash talking and all other stuff. I hope you buy this game just to play for fun. This game is about football and kids loved to play sports. So if you are a football fans I suggest buy it. This game is da bomb. You can play with you friends just for fun and you can play by yourself just for fun. So I hope you will like this game and it very fun to play also. I give 10 out of 10. And you can a little torunment with your friend for 8 players (Which I haven't done that with my friend), but anyways it kinda like a champsion round or something I not really sre how it goes. But I'll find out evenally. So I give this game a pat on the back for a great game to play.
