THE GOOD:
Unique design, fun for both single player and multiplayer purposes, simple and easy to pick up and play, looks, sounds and controls decent enough.

THE BAD:
Control stick rotating will cause some palm damage and may screw up your control stick (stirred up quite a bit of controversy it did), sometimes the controls don't like to work but that's rare, and the AI is quite random depending on difficulty.

SUMMARY:
Released in 1999 by Nintendo, Mario Party was Nintendo's attempt at a party game. Instead of just a collection of mini-games, Nintendo decided to incorporate something previously unthinkable; make a board game and put some mini-games in the mix! Not too many games attempted to copy this style, in fact, the only one I can think of at the top of my head which was similar to this was Sonic Shuffle for the Dreamcast. Maybe it was because they didn't sell too well. That's right, poor sales and poor marketing making them non-existent....

THE GOOD:
-charcters
-levels
-game modes
-picking number of turns
-levels of hardness
-mini games

THE BAD:
-get repetive

SUMMARY:
For the first Mario Party released, I was shoked at how good it was. It was way better then portrayed to be and had a pretty big fun factor.
First off, there were lots of levels, one for each of the characters that are in the game. Each level has special things about it, like popping out barrels to run from.
There is a pretty big variety of characters as well ranging from Mario to Donkey Kong. You can pick who you want to be at the start of each game, but only one person can be each character.
You can pick how many tuwrns each person will get. You can from five to fifty for a very long game. You can also set the level of difficulty for the computer players, for expiernced players, and not so good players.
After each set of turns, you play a mini game where you win coins....

THE GOOD:
Plenty to do, even on your own
Keeps you busy for a while.
It's original.
It's great for all ages

THE BAD:
Once you complete the one player modes, there is not much to do when on your own.
If you only have 1 controller, this game is rubbish.

SUMMARY:
This game relies on the number of controllers and friends you have. The more people playing, the more fun the game is. Some people will say that the game is boring because it lasts too long. However, you can make the game last between 1 and 4 hours.

Here is the important bit: for this game to be enjoyed as much as it deserves, you need 4 controllers. If you only have one controller/no friends, DON'T buy this game, it's a complete waste of time, money and energy.

People will say that it's a childish game, but it ain't. I'm 11, and my mates are 14, 12 and 10 and we think it's great so shut up.

THE GOOD:
Sweet graphics, and it is the best game I have ever played!

SUMMARY:
Now this game...This I can NOT lie about, you have to admit, they did get good with this game.

This is truly the game of the centry and is sure to rock your socks off! The graphics are great, and the options and features are so cool! And the most important thing, it's fun! The funnest game I've ever played in a matter of fact!

You can call all your buddys down and you can all get your controllers and gather around the TV. You can all play this game versing eachother, or jst free for all! This is the best mario game ever!

THE GOOD:
Great maps and most mini-games are cool. Minigames island is cool too.

THE BAD:
No items like in other MPs and We must pay to play mini-games

SUMMARY:
Mario party has good maps, good mini-games and mini-game island is great but it's 10 coins to play per mini-game but if you buy it for A LOT of coins you can play as much as you want.I would liked if there were more locations of stars on the map because like in yoshi's tropical island if you don<t land on the happening space it won<t change space. Boo doesn<t steal enough coins and bowser takes too much of them. What I like is that koopa troopa gives 10 coins and sometimes 20. I like that you can buy items at mushroom banks but it's not items like in the other MPs.I also like that you can either activate them or not.Good game...

THE GOOD:
Lots of levels
Lots of players
okay graphics

THE BAD:
Can't think of anything that is bad about this game.

SUMMARY:
This game is better then the second one. The graphics are okay in some parts of the game and in another part they are great. This game never gets boring for me at least. Best Mario Party game I have played. Good music and great mini games. When I start playing this game I can't stop. Buy this game if you like mini games.

THE GOOD:
It is very simple, so even the least game-savvy can play and possibly win! A great confidence-booster.

THE BAD:
It gets redundant fairly quick.

SUMMARY:
Many times, the mini-games become boring, but overall it is fun. It is very simple so the worst of us can have fun with it, without the humiliation from lack of gamer knowledge. My favorite part of the game is how the computer players can be changed from an easy to hard setting (with normal in between). It is great for all ages.

THE GOOD:
-graphics
-games
-great party game

THE BAD:
-not so fun by yourself

SUMMARY:
this is one of the best games to play with 3 friends. it can be alot of fun to play all the mini games. each takes a different strategie and each is challanging. if you want a party game this is it.the graphics could of been better but they are suitable. the sound is fine and this game has lots and lots of replayablity.

anyone who has a n64 should get this game.

When I first played this game, I noticed immediately how horrible the characters were made. They are very squared off and not too appealing to look at, but the other graphics, such as in the stages is good. One thing that is awful about this game is that some of the minigames are required to have you rotate the control stick. On all of the minigames such as this, you need to rotate the control stick pretty fast and it wears out the analog stick. That is a major problem, because you could make a new controller get really old within a couple months. I dont think its worth getting, unless you wish to sacrifice your controllers.
