THE GOOD:Unique design, fun for both single player and multiplayer purposes, simple and easy to pick up and play, looks, sounds and controls decent enough.
THE BAD:
Control stick rotating will cause some palm damage and may screw up your control stick (stirred up quite a bit of controversy it did), sometimes the controls don't like to work but that's rare, and the AI is quite random depending on difficulty.

Released in 1999 by Nintendo, Mario Party was Nintendo's attempt at a party game. Instead of just a collection of mini-games, Nintendo decided to incorporate something previously unthinkable; make a board game and put some mini-games in the mix! Not too many games attempted to copy this style, in fact, the only one I can think of at the top of my head which was similar to this was Sonic Shuffle for the Dreamcast.
