On my 5th birthday, I unwrapped the package and found this. I was joyful since I always wanted a PSX and this great title (which I got). Gex is a tail whoopin good time, read on to see why!

Gex retired from saving the world and decided to go sit in front of the TV again and watch cartoons and comedy films. Soon two secret agents end up in front of Gex and tell them Rez is at it again and trying to ruin the TV stations. Gex refused to help at all, after all Gex did do a hard job of saving TV back in the first game. He was taken with the agents and tried to cut out a deal. After awhile Gex got an agent suit and cash. Gex decided to go to the Media Demension and stop Rez again.

Gex 2's gameplay isn't as good as the first title's gameplay, but still makes a good game for anyone. You'll have to go into TV worlds and select a mission. Sucess gives you a remote. It isn't that easy as there's baddies, pits, and bosses. You'll have to run, jump, tail whip and bounce through to claim your prize! (a remote) You'll need remotes to open up gates in the Media Demension and to get to boss levels. There are four bosses and they're easy enough to beat without any strategy guide. But hey, some remotes are very difficult to get and can get frustarating at times. But Gex still is good and packs a lot of fun! The game also features a variety of different level types like Cartoon and Haunted!

Gex Enter The Gecko's music is OK for a 1998 game but it could be alot better. All the songs are easily remembered or it might be because I play this game so much. There is many sounds like boing, whoop, and of course Gex's wiscracks. He will always say some quote from a movie or show. I don't watch TV that much but some I know but maybe only 3 out of the millions of wisecracks.

Overall Gex is a great buy and you can find it in almost every old game store. It's worth it if you like 3D adventurers like Spyro. And those without a PSX or PS2 can still find it on N64 if they have it. They are both the same except the N64 game has another level that's a swimming one!
