THE GOOD: Excellent detail on cars. Decent variety of tracks. Realistic controls. Unlockable cars.
THE BAD: Poor control. Subpar graphics (a lot of "fog" in the backgrounds). Difficulty level is rather high.
SUMMARY: An attempt to capitalize on the appeal of the Lamborghini automobile brand, this game brings a lot of promise with it but needs some polishing. It boasts an impressive lineup of machines, from easy-to-drive cars to flat-out speed demons, plus there are hidden machies to unlock. Play modes include arcade-style against the clock or a Championship mode with realistic effects like tires wearing out, which affects your control. The stages look nice but due to processing issues, the sky an track ahead always appear foggy from a distance. The music is generally OK but gets redundant after a while. Even seasoned racing veterans will be frustrated at first by the game's high difficulty level & steep learning curve. While it's not a bad game on the whole, it feels like more a rush job than anything. It's got the power to be a contender but just not enough in the control department to stay competitive.
