THE GOOD:Features Tony Hawk & several other pro skaters. Excellent soundtrack. Realistic gameplay.
THE BAD:
Subpar graphics. Difficult to learn controls at first. High difficulty.

Also, the controls take a while to learn at first, so don't expect to bust off 900s right away. This contributes to a high difficulty level at first, so it requires a lot of patience.
