THE GOOD:Arcade-perfect graphics and gameplay. Good variety of options.
THE BAD:
Difficulty level, even on easy, is a bit too high. Some of the fancier combos are near-impossible to effectively pull off.
SUMMARY:
Although the title suggests otherwise, this game is mainly a port of the arcade title "Killer Instinct 2". The home version, though, adds a training mode and (if you can unlock them) several menus of options. The fighter is priamrily a button-masher, but skill is required to pull off combos, some of which can do 40+ hits and are extremely awe-inspiring. But you have to mix it up or you'll get "broken" all the time, which makes it a bit aggravating. The final boss battle is the hardest part of the game, and is more challenging than it should be.
Multiplayer action is fast and fun, and you can adjust settings like speed and handicap to make it more fair for less-experienced players. Graphics & sound are...
