THE BAD: Some of the levels have a sense of déjà vu.
SUMMARY: Streets of Rage 2 is the sequel to Streets of Rage and once again it is up to you to clean the streets single handed. There are 2 new characters, but you can't play as Adam so there are only 4 people to choose from. Adam has been kidnapped and you have to rescue him. You can play as Axel or Blaze again, but this time you can also choose from Max, a bodybuilder, or Skate, Adam's brother. This time the Police Force does not exist, and you find out why if you read the booklet. You no longer have the backup of the old special attack when you get in a tough spot here, so there is a different one. There are again 8 levels to play through, but this time they are divided up into sections so you aren't going through just one environment all the time.
