Erm, Fighting and Blood.

Fatalities are cool.

THE BAD:
Glitchy.

Reptile is too hard.

You can't use Reptile and other bosses.

Bland graphics.

Repetitive and monotomous gameplay.

SUMMARY:
Difficulty: Semi-Easy.

THE GOOD:
The fatality moved, the graphics obviously don't even come close to more up to date games but are good for its time.

THE BAD:
Glitchy.

SUMMARY:
When i last played this game I found it very addictive, this game is a great game for your collection if you own a sega. The characters are great my fav is sub zero as he uses a freeze move to stop his oponents for a short time.

Just 2 Xtreme...

THE GOOD:
Some of the fatalities.

Uppercuts are easier to do.

Some cool glitches.

THE BAD:
Bad graphics.

The bosses and Reptile isn't playable and when I use a Game Genie to try to play as them the game either glitches when I use them or the code just doesn't work.

When I face Reptile he's very hard to beat.

SUMMARY:
Difficulty: Very Easy

This game is okay but it's sequels (especially Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Mortal Kombat Deadly Allaince) are better. So if you've never played Mortal Kombat games before play this one first because it's the worst one. After this one play Mortal Kombat 4 since it's the second worst. After that play any Mortal Kombat game you would like. This game along with Street Fighter 2 are the very first fighting games I ever played. So it would be cool if they were your first too.
