THE GOOD:
When first playing this game on the mega drive I was blown away. I loved everything there was to it. Controlling Mickey mouse as he travels through the castle of illusion to find his loved one Minnie. The inventive and fun levels there were, such as being the size of a toy and having to fight off toy soldiers. As much as it's an old game and the graphics doesn't live up to how games are today, the images were clear, colourful and full of detail. One thing that always made me laugh is knock Mickey's head on the ceiling to hear that funny noise. Having to use Mickey as he is able to throw apples at his enemies, climb and jump to high places and bop enemies on the head with his bum are all fun and keep you busy for ages.

THE BAD:
Can't say there was any bad points to this...as I said, the graphics may not live up to how they are today, but it's an old game. XD Though the music was incredibly repetitive, which did grow annoying at times. lol

SUMMARY:
This game is fun for the whole family, the levels are full of challenges and evil bosses at the end you must battle to get one step closer to Minnie. Walk along shelves and bookcases, climb up the mountain of toys, fight off scary ghosts in the creepy forest, it's all in there for you to do. I real entertaining game. Definitely an old class that I enjoy to play even today. ^^

THE GOOD:
Very interesting level designs
Challenging

THE BAD:
Pretty difficult to beat on normal or hard mode

SUMMARY:
In this game you play as Mickey Mouse and you have to rescue Minnie who has been taken prisoner by an evil witch. There are several levels to play through and most of them are divided up into different sections. At the end of each section there is a boss to fight and defeat before you can move to the next level.

There are two main attacks that Mickey has. You can either jump and press jump again in the air to bounce off the top of enemies or you can throw objects in front of you. This object changes from level to level but there is no difference in the performance. You have a limited supply of your throwing weapon so it’s best to save them for when it’s hard to jump on an enemy. You can pick up extra ammunition throughout the level though.

One of the main things I remember clearly about this game was the level design. Each level was pretty different to the next and whoever designed the levels did an outstanding job. The twists and turns you go on in some of the levels can take you by surprise and the level where you appear to be going through a dungeon takes a long time to get through in one piece because there are just so many traps. And on another level you would have to jump into glasses of drink or into barrels to get through a mini-game and return to the main one to be able to advance. I don’t think I’ve played a game where there is so much going on in just one level at a time.

If you played on easy mode then you do 3 levels and would end the game. Playing on normal or hard gives you the full experience and requires you to beat the rest of the levels. At the end of each level you collect a coloured gem, and as you go on it should become clear where the colours are from.

This wasn’t one of my favourite games on this console, but looking back on the game it’s clear that the level design was just simply stunning. The enemies you had to fight didn’t really require a great deal of thought to figure out how to beat, but beating the level as a whole certainly did.
