SUMMARY: Aladdin for the Mega Drive is based on the Disney movie of the same name. You control Aladdin, a "street rat" on the streets of Agrabah. He steals food to stay alive, with help from his trusted monkey friend Abu and uses a run down building as his home.
This game is a side-scroller, like a lot of games for this console. Your main weapon is the sword you carry and it's what you'll rely on in most cases to get the job done. You can only attack with it though, not defend. The other weapon you will use are apples. These can be thrown at enemies and do the same amount of damage as a sword strike. Like ranged weapons in a lot of other games you only have a limited supply of them, so apples are best used when it would be very hard to attack someone with your sword. Picking up any apples you see will increase your supply.
