WWE Day of Reckoning

THE BAD:
Story Mode, Lack of Superstars.

SUMMARY:
The moves, and variety of moves, is awesome, and the special system just as good. Creating a wrestler has never been more detailed or fun, because you determine every little thing, like how they like to wrestle, their eye colour, even how big their nose is!
Making an entrance is heaps of fun cause you've got so many moves, fireworks, and lighting options you never stop coming up with new ones.
The shopzone is another awesome feature, where you spend the money you earn in Story mode to buy weapons, clothes, moves, and arenas.
In the ring, there is no word to describe how good it really is, I recommend that if you haven't already, go buy it and see for yourself!

THE BAD:
-Can't choose female CAWs in the Bra and Panties Match.
-Can't put logos on the clothing of female CAWs.
-Only 4 Divas. No Sable, No Jacqueline, No Chyna, No Lita, No Miss Jackie, No Michelle McCool, No Amy Weber, No Christy, No Torrie Wilson, No Dawn Marie, No Nidia...

SUMMARY:
I have rented this game, and this game looks great. It is WAY better than the previous WWE game. In the CAW mode, you can create your favorite celebrity, TV characters, even you. In the story mode, you must choose your CAW (can't choose female CAW in the story mode, though), and go through the journey, and earn cash, and unlock the legends.

Oh, and a few other things. There are some moves missing like Bronco Buster, and some others. And you CANNOT choose female CAWs in the bra and panties match.

Recommended: Yes.

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
This game is great. Awesome. Well not that awesome. But it's cool. The roster is...cool even though they should've improved it. But the game has a lot of bugs and glitches. You see people teleport from one side of the ring to the other or, you hear strange noises while you're playing... Anyway, the season mode ain't cool. You can only play with a CAW, and there's only one storyline! And the music... don't get me started with that. The entrances are cool, really cool. The CAW mode is awesome, and extremely complexed. Same thing for the CAE(create-a-entrance) mode which you can't find in every game... The graphics are great and really realistic. I only wish you could play with 6 players, but... oh well...


Anyway, two thumbs up!

SUMMARY:
I could expand on the good and bad things about this game, but overal this is a decent game. With the right ajustments and additions, this game would be the best out there. If you're thinking of buying this game because of Storymode, think again, seriously. Storymode is a load of shit. You can only play as your CAW in Storymode (partly because that is the objective of the game, working your way up the ladder) but I would of liked to play as some of the real Wrestlers as well as my CAW's. Concentrating on Storymode a little more, Story is what makes the Smackdown! series better than this one. Not only does it have a variety of different options to choose from, you can play as real wrestlers. I think in the follow up of this game (if there will ever be one) there need to be some improvments, mainly, on the Story aspect of the game. Apart from that, the game worth it's selling price, just. Overal...

THE BAD:
Season mode gets a bit repititve
You cannot edit existing superstars entrance

SUMMARY:
This game is very good. It has awesome gameplay in it, which is no suprise from any wrestling game on the Nintendo system. It defiantly kicks SmackDown vs. RAW's ass in gameplay. The season mode is pretty cool, but you can only use a CAW in it, have shitty stats when you start off, and it has the same exact storyline everytime, just different wrestlers depending on the brand you're on. It seems you only make one choice in this game, which roster you go on and which superstar you choose, that's about it, you're guided through everything else.

The soundtrack is great featuring real songs so you can create your superstar or have a match to the tunes of Breaking Benjamin and all the other bands on it.

THE BAD:
Music is to repetitive

They have people like the Bashams but no JBL and that

Kane's hat thing has to much starch in it

Lots of bugs (People ghover sometimes and they teleport)

On expert mode people know your every move!!!

You cant pick your friends and enemies or make tag team entrances

Legends dont have proper entrances

SUMMARY:
This game is good fun being able to wrestle it out like pros.Yes I no my ad list was long but this game is still well worth it except it takes up alot of space.

The 'school of Hard Knocks' is a fun mode you will love it but as many ther reviews say its either raw or smackdown and they both follow the same story line (sort of).

One of the problems in graphics is that Haas and RVD to me look a little young and some people look like clay!!!

SUMMARY:
This game is great, when I first played I was thinking to myself 'wow, this game looks sweet' but it does more than look great it is unbelievably fun to play.

The graphics are the first thing that you will notice, they are greatly improved from WMXIX and will even rival the PS2's Smackdown vs Raw in the graphics department.

The create a wrestler mode is also great, CAW mode plays a much larger role in the game this time around because you can only go through season mode as one of your created wrestlers. You will spend hours in this section making your created superstars and then giving them the most dynamic entrance seen on WWE Television.

SUMMARY:
I'd have to agree with Kirby that XIX and DOR should be put together to make a great game. I'd say the character attire is abit lacking of abundance and too shiny.
As for the Story mode Iv'e never played a story mode in a wrestling game that I've yet liked. You should be able to create your own Story Mode quotes after beating the game.
Not only that but, there should have been an option to take out revolution right away like Goldberg did.I miss choke slamming my opponent's into oncoming traffic. Yep I do miss that. and why does everone sweat a story mode just watch wrestling or read Bradshaws book if you want a story. So these guy's can put more into the actual gameplay and backstage fun!.

THE BAD:
I spent hours making my entrance perfect for my CAW and when I won the Tag Titles, my entrance was completely changed, I have a dead, sorta zombie guy like Undertaker, and he's smiling....>_< The bra and panties matches were good but only 4 divas and no female CAWS can be in it. No Lita, No Torrie, No Dawn Marie, No Sable, No Lita, No Miss Jackie, No Stephanie. >_<

SUMMARY:
The game is pretty good, sweat effect was a bit over-done with every shot making sweat fly off. I love how when they bleed, the sweat turns into blood. They have barely any superstars to use, Wrestlemania XIX has way more divas, way more superstars, and way more shopzone items to buy. If THQ just combines WMXIX and DOR with all the good stuff, that's is a game worth getting. Take all the superstars from WMXIX, take away Revenge mode and replace it with story mode, have the entrance...

SUMMARY:
Overall WWE: Day Of Reckoning was a great game. It is a big step up from WrestleMania XIX, and is a very fun game. Almost every superstar has their own correct theme. The only one's that don't are Ric Flair and Stacy Keibler. The Story Mode is also a lot better from WrestleMania XIX's. I found it very fun to bring my own superstar into the ranks of the WWE. The Create A Wrestler Mode has also been made more easier and has more options, such as taking a photo of your superstar so you can see what he/she looks like when you are chosing your wrestler you are going to be in a match. The only thing that would make this game better would be a more updates roster. Other than that this game is perfect.
