THE GOOD: ~Customisable characters ~Multiplayer ~Addictive ~Customisable tracksTHE BAD: ~The music (most) ~Not much levels ~Same type of game to last ones though
SUMMARY: I have never been a fan of the Tony Hawk's pro skater games but when I found out that you could customise your own park I so rented this game out, it turned out ok.
The customisable characters are really fun, becaue you can make so many different looking characters, this adds a lot to the replay value. Well you can have different hats, glasses, shirts, shorts, tattoos boards, etc. While you make your character you can customise his or her stats, to make them what you want them to be like.
The customisable tracks got my attention as you can of course create your own parks. There are mnay different half pipes, rails, pools etc for you to choose from but to be fun you should make your own lava park, so basiclly every where you go you are screwed. Ha ha ha, lol.
The annoying thing is most of the music, GRRRRRRRR, it's so annoying, unless your into a lot of annoying R&B rap songs, you might want to mute the T.V. It also gets frustrating with the Park maker and you stuff up heaps of times and your listening to that music.
There is many different tricks for you to do, along with the cheats, matrix mode and no gravity. They are pretty cool and you can pull of so many moves. The main campaign thing has lots for you to do, eg, the colledge, there are many people for you to talk to, so thereis plenty to do. This is addictive at first but then it might get a bit tiresome after a while.
The multiplayer is good, it's so much fun to send messages accross and then they get all cut up about it, the annoying thing is there is a lack of levels, also the levels look dull. The graphics are ok not great, but not bad.
I recommend to anyone who loves skateboarding games that do not have one already, though it is still wise to rent before you buy. |

THE GOOD: 4 secret skaters, 190 goals, and Ollie the Bum. What more could you want? Cheats? There's plenty of cheats for the big cheaters out there, including one that unlocks everything. My advice to all cheaters out there is *Don't use the cheat that unlocks everything* unless you want to spoil all of the fun. Great graphics and an interactive environment.THE BAD: Some of the goals are a little too challenging, like one of the goals in Alcatraz. SUMMARY: There's a Pro Challenge mode as well as an Amateur one. Pro challenge is harder. There's minigames to beat. My personal favorite is the one in the Zoo. Some of the goals are fun but stupid, others are funny to watch, and some are just stupid. The moves that you can pick to give people are sometimes cool, like Bloody Eddy. This game makes your hands work along with your brain (sometimes). There's videos to unlock and watch, 4 secret characters, and 2 secret levels. Some of the people that give you your goals are just plain funny such as the Drunk Hick and Ollie the Bum. Overall this is a great game. The best Tony Hawk so far. |

THE GOOD: This game rocks! There's 190 goals you can do! 13 characters. very, Very cool tricks like Eric Koston's Chomp on This and Tony Hawk's Indy 900. This game has awsome graphics! There's so many secrets you can unlock. And there's 4 hidden characters. THE BAD: Well, it's pretty hard just to keep your balance while grinding, Liping, and manualing. And there's goals that are pretty hard. SUMMARY: Tont Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is one of the best games in the world! You can do so many sweeet tricks and there's some goals that are pretty dumb but are fun! One of them you have to smash a Hamster that's making fun of you! And once you beat 90 goals, you unlock the Pro Challenges. You better watch out because their hard! And really good multiplayer games. You have to buy this awsoume game! |

THE GOOD: - More Charactors - Bigger levels - Mini-games - More fun - Better Graphic then previous THPS games - Secret Charactors - No Time Limit for each level - MultiplayerTHE BAD: - Music is OK but still not good to my standards - I want CKY in it! - Needs a lot more tricks - Levels are big but not big enough SUMMARY: I loved this game. Its fun, long lasting and unbeatable. Anyone who buys this game wil complain but not me! They only complain cuz of tiny little erros. Like oh lets say Tony doesn't look like Tony, They complain. Its all good to me and should be for you! |

THE GOOD: It has so many upgrades and add-ons from the last 3 versions, that I can't even think of all the goods.THE BAD: It's not much, but some goals can't be expected to complete in the first 5 tries. It's basicly a lot of trial and error. SUMMARY: Numerous stages, players, tricks, and sublime jokes that the series is known for. Very detailed game, and the graphics are amazing! |

THE GOOD: everything is good in this game! HUGE levels, tons of goals, and the best part: flatland tricks!THE BAD: none SUMMARY: this is by far the best tony hawk game ever! t-h 4 is better than all the other tony hawks combined. i was surprised that there werent more reviews for this game saying it kicked ass! ya my favorite goal was "rodney mullen's flatland tricks" where he actually teaches you how to do them. before this even came out, i always wondered why they didnt put flatland trix in the other ones. its also totally awesome that you dont have a timelimit so you can just roam around and explore whithout worrying about time. the new 'creat a skater' and park editor have improved big time since 3 and i think the goals are very creative like the one where you have to distract the gaurds so the prisoner can escape in 'alcatraz'. the only other game that matches T-H 4 is VICE CITY, but besides that, tony hawk 4 is in a league all its own! |

THE GOOD: the graphics, all of the goals, the insertion of minigames, the large levels, a good amount of goalsTHE BAD: i havent beat it yet SUMMARY: This game has beautiful graphics and gameplay. There is alot to do in it. There are 16 goals per level and some take a good amount of work to get. There are cheats you can buy and different characters you can buy with the cash. The levels are gimongous. It will have you glued to your TV screen for hours. Go and get this game before the come out with yet another one. |

THE GOOD: Everything. 'Nuff said.THE BAD: Nothing. SUMMARY: This game rocks....Neversoft has outdone itself again. With the addition of the flatland tricks, and skitching, they have added a reality to skateboarding that was seldom seen before. It has better graphics. The career mode is awesome, as the time limit has been eliminated. You can free-ride around, or if you get gutsy, try one of the gazillion challenges. I am extremely pleased with this sequel. Well done. This game will be on my shelf for good. -Dan |

THE GOOD: Its SWEEEETTHE BAD: nothing to report on yet SUMMARY: The realism of this one over the others is awesome. I totally recommend it to any skating fan out there. I totally and wholeheartedly recommend getting all 4. With 4 being the hottest. The trick lists dont exist. You skat to other skaters to get your lists nd they include street luging on your board and helping the bum. The list goes on and on. Overall I rcommend this over anyother game out. |
