THE GOOD:
The games sounds great. I loved it how the boards sound on ice. Tons of characters to unlock. Two all new tracks. Tricks are spectacular.

THE BAD:
There are only three songs to a track. Not just one big playlist.

SUMMARY:
When I first played this game with my friend i thought it sucked. Boy, was I wrong. When I got the trick configuration down I got into. It became my favorite sports game. No sports game can compare to it. When I would go to my friend's house we would play 1080. I didn't like the whole healt deal, but SSX Tricky on the other hand the tricky meter which is so cool. I am not very good at doing the uber tricks but is fun when I do. I enjoy the character scenes at the start or end of the races. It really adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Another good thing SSX Tricky is the long courses it has very fine job, EA. The "Making Of" video is a nice touch. The bottom line is, I love this game and I will keep playing forever.

I got this game for $50 at Toys R Us and I can say I am not disappointed. To tell you the truth, I don't really like snowboarding games that much. (This is the first one I ever bought, I played 1080 Snowboarding at a friends house.) However, it was better than I expected, but not perfect.

The Graphics are pretty good. I have seen better in other Gamecube games, but this will have to do. Choppy frame rates are pretty rare, and you will probably be pretty satisfied.

Sound is deffinetely SSX Tricky's best attribute. The music was custom made for this game by various artists. After listning for a while (during game play) I have to say that it is amazing music. There is no way you could possibly be dissapointed.

The control is also very nice. Turning is easily accomplished and it is easy to perform a trick, but hard tricks get much harder to perform. This offers enough challenge for everyone.

The game has eight normal courses that need to be unlocked by winning races in race mode or by getting enough points in showoff mode. There are two extra courses that when unlocked, can only be accessed in Practice mode. (This is something I do not like too much.) Speaking of modes, there are three main modes. Practice, World Circuit and Single Race. Each can be accessed with one or two players except World Circuit. World Circuit is the were you can race in competitions and try to unlock more level. In Single Race, you can race against the computer or a friend in one race. In practice mode, you can race just for fun by yourself or with a friend. (no computers.) You can also do trick practice in practice mode. This allows you to try to perform all the tricks in the game.

One thing EA could have done, is make a four player mode. I can tell why they didn't on the PS2, but they sould have changed it when they made the game for the GCN. Oh well.

Each of the coarses is a fast-paced race or trick fest to the bottom. SSX Tricky is not a realistic game, but is more of a no physics at all, type of game. Even if you are not a major fan of snowboarding, I still recommend picking this up. You will not be disappointed. I know I sure wasn't.

THE GOOD:
One of the best sports games I've ever seen, with something for everybody.

THE BAD:
For some people it might get boring

SUMMARY:
They have races, and totally awsome tricks. You can earn new players, new boards and new clothes. All the players are different, and havew thier own individual tricks. And this is one of the only games I've seen where there are not only as many girls as guys, but they are just as good. This is an awsome game.
