THE GOOD:
-Impressive Graghics
-Nice music and sound effects
-Easy controls
-Fun and addictive gameplay
-Nice multiplayer options
-alot to keep you going

THE BAD:
-Might be repetitve but thats not always bad.

SUMMARY:
Graphics
Not bad, especailly for the gamecube. The environments are nicely detailed same as with character detail. The lighting effects are nice too. The character movement is good too.
Sound
The music in the game fits perfectly with the mood and sound effects seem realistic also. There isn't much voice acting and what voice acting there is isn't anything special.
Controls
The controls are nicely maped onto the controller and easy to get used making it fun for the fastes learner or the slowest.
Gameplay
Soul Caliber II is a fighting game so if you don't like fighting games you probably shouldn't try this one but if you do by all means pick this title up because this is...

THE GOOD:
I enjoy playing this game with my friends almost every day, trying to outwit and beat each other. Once I beat the game, I knew that the fun had just begun.

THE BAD:
Besides a few minor... extremely minor glitches there is nothing bad about this game.

SUMMARY:
This game is amazing in every way, stunning graphics and actually quite an intuitive storyline. The storyline is based on the weapon master mode, but then there is also a backside storyline to every single charachter in the game. Unlockables are fun to retrieve, including weapons, costumes, art galleries and more. Link, my personal favorite character, is depicted very well in this game. He utilizes alot of his special features, like the pegasus boots and many of his weapons, even the unknown, legendary, great fairy sword. The weapons of every character are quite fun to try out and all characters have their own unique fighting styles. Mastering one character is fun to beat all of...

THE GOOD:
-The characters especially the guest character Link.
-The choice of weapons and costumes.
-All of the other modes including Extra Arcade, and Extra Team Battle
-Characters moves
-Characters voices

THE BAD:
Sorry I'll get back to you on that

SUMMARY:
The story of Soul Calibur is back and even better. Everyone is in the hunt for the demonic sword Soul Edge. In the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur 2 the special guest character is Link from the Legend of Zelda. This game has a lot of modes to play in, some are arcade ,team battle, and weapons master. In arcade mode you select a character and fight a series of battles until you fight the last battle and win the swords Soul Edge and Soul Calibur (you don't really get them after finishing arcade mode) you also get your character's profile. In team battle you can choose 3 characters and fight against other teams of 3. In weapons master you can choose a character...

THE GOOD:
- good graphics
- variety of fighters
- detailed characters and stage effects
- lots of extra features like exhibition, demo and so on
- good in game features such as training and weapon master mode
- not too hard, not too easy, lots of combos and attacks
- My favourite fighting game for SCII!

THE BAD:
- game is a bit short
- weapon master enemies are a bit easy
- only one file is allowed per memory card, so to start a new game, you either need a new memory card, or you can't save

SUMMARY:
SCII is one of the coolest fighting games. It features lots of characters and 3 secret characters that can be unlocked. It has a weapon master quest, sort of like a storyline game. People can play this game for a long time because it takes time to train and master your moves. It definitely has replay value. I got GC because of this game. If you master several characters, prepare to mash out your friends and show off when...

Animating [listed in detailed comments]
Sound effects [listed in detailed comments]
Character [listed in detailed comments]
Music [listed in detailed comments]

THE BAD:
Anoyying attacks can make you frustrated when you cant move

Story line can be confusing but it makes sense 90% of the time

SUMMARY:
Graphics:
Good graphics from proffesional Graphic people

Animating:
Every move is exactly as it would be in real life

Character's:
Character to suit your strenth,defence,looks
A fair bit of characters to choose from suiting what style you like best

Music:
Nice melodies and music to suit imagination in gameplay

Sound effects:
The sound effects are nothing much but they are pretty close to what they would be in real life

THE GOOD:
Pretty much everything. The fighting, the levels, the story mode, everything. Link is da bomb of the game.

THE BAD:
Link makes the game a little too easy if you use his forward throw WAY TOO MUCH. Otherwise, this game is da bomb.

SUMMARY:
This is one of the less popular games. I haven't been affected by the spell yet and it's so freaken hard. Don't listen to those who say the game sucks or it's too short or the weapons bite ass. They don't know what they're saying. The weapons take skill the master and the levels in hard mode is so freaken hard. Two thumbs pretty high up.

Good thing they put Link in this game. It makes it better than the XBox version but makes the PS2 version seem too hard. Don't diss the GC or PS2 version but we'll stay away from the XBox version, it's too easy.

XBox: Easy.
GC: Medium.
PS2: Hard.

THE GOOD:
game rocks and rools baby
graphics kills most of the other fighting games
replay is great i beat it tons of times ani still play it

THE BAD:
no spawn or heinchi but thats all

THE GOOD:
  • Eye-candy Graphics
  • Gameplay

    THE BAD:

  • Weak Story

    SUMMARY:

    Plot:
I have to admit, the story's pretty weak. I don't think a plot is even necessary in these types of games. Maybe they would have been better off without trying to piece things together with a storyline.

    Gameplay:
One word: addictive. Much like Melee, this gameplay's very addictive and although it may seem repetitive - you don't get tired of it. You can unlock different stages and characters with time, too, which makes things even more interesting.

    Music:
There are some really catchy melodies in this game. ^^

    Graphics:
Aw man, the graphics are beautiful. Everything from the realistic character designs and awesome outfits, to the scenery - it's all breathtaking.

    Replay:
    Awesome replay, as...

    THE GOOD:
    Deep controls
    Good characters
    TALIM IS HAWT!!

    THE BAD:
    Get's boring after a while.
Not as fun as Smash Bros.

    SUMMARY:
    Soul Calibur 2
First of all..: The classic Dreamcast(R.I.P.) fighting game is back and with cool new extras. Hard to learn AND impossible to master, Soul Calibur 2 is one of the greatest fighting games on any system.

Visuals:10.0- This game looks great. The characters are all very detailed(Xianghua bounces!! ). They're not lifelike but they're pretty damn, well, pretty. The stages look good and TALIM IS HAWT!!! But that's besides the point. It looks good.

Sounds: 8.5- Nothing revolutionary. Traditional fighting game sounds. Smacks thwacks and screams(I wouldn't mind making Talim scream. But that's beside the point. ) The music's not screamworthy but it's pretty good...

    THE GOOD:
Wide variety of fighters including Link
    Loads of game modes
    Fast and fluid gameplay
    Loads to unlock

    THE BAD:
    Guarding is hit and miss
Level-up system in WM is rather pointless
    Dungeons boring in WM

    SUMMARY:
Okay, time to admit it. I'm not a big fan of fighting games. The concept sounds very cool but I've always been vastly disappointed with the genre's offerings. So-called greats like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat have always felt so sluggish and restrictive. With the move into the third dimension I picked up Soul Calibur 2 in the hopes that it could properly convey what a fighting game should.

    Visual

First impressions always occur, and Soul Calibur 2 certainly doesn't disappoint in that department. The graphical prowess of the game can only be described as beautiful.

The character models have been rendered wonderfully. There is a tremendous amount of...
