THE GOOD:
Nice graphics and music
deeper story line

THE BAD:
f%&ked up sound efects
Shitty game play
Stupid allies
Can’t use your character
Waste of 50$ dollars
And much much more

SUMMARY:
pso episode 3 is one of the most disappointing sequels ever made due to lack of excitment unlike the first one which was hack and slash adventure this unholy piece of shit has game play that sucks so much all you do is the same thing over and over and dice roll thing is so gay as well as the fact that if you lose one match you lose experience and level down the only thing sonic team did right was add more story and did a good job with music and graphics but the sound sucked there this annoying announcer that says dice, move, start in such a gay voice it make me want to stab my tv speakers. But if episode 3 was more like monster hunter or kingdom hearts then it woud have been a better game.

THE GOOD:
  • Better story line than PSO: Episodes I & II
  • A lot of new characters to use in battle
  • The new C.A.R.D. system, which allows you to battle
  • Slightly improved graphics
  • Play on the good side (Hunters) or on the dark side (Arkz)
  • It's the second online game on GameCube!

    THE BAD:

  • The character you create isn't used for battles
  • The only thing you do in a mission/quest is FIGHT
  • You will really hate some of your companions
  • Some missions are darn hard to master
  • You always fight in the same areas

    SUMMARY:
PSO: Episode III is a good sequel to Episodes I & II, though it isn't as good as it's predecessor. You will like this game if you played Ep. I & II, though the only thing you will do is battle. That means no more exploring. Once you create a deck for your team mates and send them down to Ragol, you will have to fight a Hunter or an Arkz, depending on which side you are playing the game. You will always use C.A.R.D. technology, which allows you to summon creatures and monsters (in case you play as an Arkz) or weapons and shields (in case you play as a Hunter). Some of the missions are very hard, and it will take you some time to master them all. This game isn't as long as Ep. I & II, though it's still great.

    THE GOOD:
Amazing offline story, easy to learn mechanics, nice music!

    THE BAD:
Hunter's weapons break, difficulty level early on is easy.

    SUMMARY:
This game is a must get for PSO Fanatics! It is a tad expensive (for me at least) but well worth it, even if you don't plan on going online.
This game's offline mode is so good, since there are so many characters to meet. The story is also compelling since many of the NPC's know each other. Each character has their own reasons for doing what their doing, but it all seems connected to one thing.
Much like all the PSO Games, the game has an introduction from a Principal or Chief (this one is Gutlass) and starts you off with the basic necesities.
One noteable thing about the game is, no more meseta.I was shocked at first, but the game simply doesn't need it.There are also no more shops, but there aren't items you have to buy in this game since everything you need is in the cards.
I have not tested Online Play yet, so I don't know what to expect, but if you stick around the forums here, you'll probably see some information on that.

I gave this game a slightly lower rating than PSO Ep.I&II since I don't think there is as much replay value (still a lot just not as much) and I think this game will be slightly less popular than the Old School Attack, Run, Heal style of PSO Ep.I&II.
Still this game desrves a try, and you don't need to buy the previous games to understand the story.
