THE GOOD:
Bullet-Time, Amazing Sound, Great Character Models, Parerell with Reloaded

THE BAD:
Stiff Animations, Clunky Controls, No Neo, Morpheious or Trinity, Very Short and Easy

SUMMARY:
The world we live in is not real. In fact, it is a simulation of the way the world used to be. We live in a computer program, made to keep life peaceful. However, in the future, the world is a dark and evil place. Only a selected few known as Rebels can travel from this future world into the simulation known as the 'Matrix'. They have knowledge of the system, and can do things seeingly impossible to others. But wait. If you're reading this, you know all the background of the Matrix, right? Good. Now, to the game.

Enter The Matrix is a game with a parerell storyline to the movie, The Matrix: Reloaded. You play as Niobe and Ghost, the crew of the craft the Logos.

So, for the good stuff. The Matrix was made famous for its "Bullet Time", in which time slows down and the Rebel can perform great feets. In Enter the Matrix, you can activate bullet time, which is amazing. With this power activated, you can do all the things in the movie: Throw people twenty feet back, dodge bullets, run on walls. Everything. It is very easy to use and extremly fun. The first time you cartwheel while shooting will be a time in your gaming life you will remember. You can always not use it, and fight with normal skills and shoot. This is still very fun, but no where near what bullet time is. Also, the sound in this game is totally amazing. From the effects to the soundtrack to the voiceovers, everything is top notch. They use music and actors from the movies to give it that authentic feel, and does it work. The characters look just like the real people, right down to the hair and costumes. Really sweet looking.

But of course, there are bad things. The first and probably most noticable is the animations. The way the characters run and climb fences makes it look like they have a massive metal rod shoved up their ass. And they don't, so there's no need for that. Everything was motion captured, so why does it look like crap? Also, the controls are very off. They just don't seem to work for a game like this, as a Max Payne control scheme would. And even though the parerell story line is interesting, you really want to play as Neo. I mean, who wouldn't want to fly through the skies or use your kitana to destroy car. Seriously. And on top of that, the game is extremly easy and can be beaten in about seven hours.

All in all, die hard fans of this game will most likely love it. But if you look at it closely, it really isn't that great. Alot more could have been done. They have a great liscence to work with. What happened?

THE GOOD:
Really good fight moves and the slow mo option is great for fighting agents and didging bullets. Great graphics although it is a bit patchy in places and the areas that you go to are great

THE BAD:
Some graphics arent good in that their mouths dont move whent they talk. You cant kill agents unless you knowck them off a building or summat

SUMMARY:
Graphics are great and the fact that the game follows the movie puts the gamer into the game even more. The fight moves and stuff is brilliant and the hacking system is great for getting inside info on the characters, weapons, cars and maps and also messages from the cast of the movie. The game does the movie justice and as I think that the matrix movies are the greatest made thats saying something. The levels int he game are great and when you are driving the car the hands actually move which doesnt happen in some games

THE GOOD:
graphics, range of guns, good long gameplay.i also love the music.free views on the first and second movie.at the end of the game you get to watch the trailer of the matrix: 3

THE BAD:
sometimes the camera view relly sucks.certain people you cant play as

SUMMARY:
this game is the second hardest game i played on gamecube.its graphics are so good you think your watching the movie only your controlling it.i recemend this game to every single gamer out there that like action-adventure games.this was the first game i got and i played it for 6 months until i finnaly beat it coz its so long.this game has just a few bugs as i listed above in (the bad)section.all the characters of the movie are in the game but you only get to play as two of them which is nioby and ghost. you can play as a lot more in multi-player mode but i dont know the code for to get multi-player.

THE GOOD:
Good graphics.
Long, long, long.
The shooting-car scene. I never get tired of it!
Outstanding music.

THE BAD:
Where's Neo and/or Morpheus??!!
Long load times in a GCN Game????
Too many things to remember.
You can't see what's in front of you sometimes.
With Viewtiful Joe out, this seems like a throwaway.

SUMMARY:
This game is pretty entertaining. The graphics are very realistic. Every texture is detailed perfecly. When you go into bullet time, everything gets even more amazing. The controls are not that good, and there are too many things to remember. Unlike in Viewtiful Joe, you can't dodge bullets automatically, which makes for even more seemingly pointless manuvers that should have been left out to cut the quite long and frequent loading times. This would make sense if it was a PS2 game, but the Gamecube is not known to have frequent load times. The music is, by far, the best aspect of the game. Ranging from groovy tecnho to spy music, the game just sounds excellent. Since most of your adventures take place underground, it is pretty hard to see where you are going at times. If you see your character, you'll be disapointed to find out that there is no Neo and Morpheus!! What happened? They used more bullet time than Niobe or this "Ghost" person who I did not see in the movie, and would have made much more sense if you were playing as the main characters. The game is quite long-longer than Viewtiful Joe-and should provide tons of replay value.

THE GOOD:
Fighting was pretty dope.
Focus was really great.

THE BAD:
Some of it was too hard for me.

SUMMARY:
The soryline I dont really know anything about at all as I only played it about 10 stages in. I rented the game and I am glad that I did. Im not saying its that bad but that its the type that you shouldnt pay more than 25 dolla fo.

It is a good game, the hand to hand is really great once you learn a few special moves like jumping off the wall and doing cartwheels while firing your gun. I suggest that you rent it before buying as this is the type that you either hate or love.

THE GOOD:
Graphics, story, and really cool fighting system! Score is intriguing

THE BAD:
Gameplay gets REALLY repetative

SUMMARY:
This game is REALLY fun for the first two or three levels, but then tends to fall into a monotonous gameplay, as you see the story unravel, you are merely grudging through it just to see how it ends. Rent this, and you'll probably beat it in about two weeks.

The graphics are really good, and so is the score, it'll keep you at the edge of your seat when it wants you to be. When there's an agent chasing you, the music gets really scary, and bullets are flying at you from an unknown target behind you, and you're too afraid to stop and look for the escape, for fear of the Agent catching you and throwing you across the entire room. The weapons are all really cool, so it the "Bullet Time", where you do all those signature Matrix-moves, kicking three guys through the air in one leaping kick, the awesome somersault is a can-do too!

But all in all, it's worth it's while. Rent it, and try to beat it like that. But buying may be the option for you, because if ever you're bored, it's kinda fun to go play some level, and open up some whopa on weak security...

THE GOOD:
You get to do some of the cool fighting, use the cool weapons, see cinematic footage not seen before and get to hack into your GameCube.

THE BAD:
Don't get to go Neo or Morpheus. Multi-player not very exciting and it's too easy!

SUMMARY:
Well, we waited and waited and finally the game we have all been waiting for finally arrives. The suspense kills us to know that in that game you get to do all the stuff you saw in that 1999 box-office hit.
Hmmmm... it's really good but it's not great. Well, it's good, sure it's good but it's O.K. You can only go these two characters! (Though Ghost totally rocks, yeah!)You don't get to fight Agent Smith, you don't get to go Neo! OH COME ON !!But it's still good. It's gonna be a classic though, you can tell it's still got a good storyline, good selection of weapons, good selection of classic moves etc. This is a game that is for a total Matrix fan if you're not then I defintely know that you will regret ever buying it instead of another title.
If you've saved up all your cash for this and might buy this at full price wait, because this might not be your thing. Rent it first, if you like it then maybe wait a while till it goes down in price a little bit and if you don't know maybe wait because there are plenty more exellent titles for GameCube on the way.

THE GOOD:
This game has real film footage, a preveiw for The Matrix: Revolutions, a complex story line that fits in with The Matrix: Reloaded, and pretty good graphics.

THE BAD:
I found the game to be a bit easy, I bought it on a Friday, and hoped to have a game that would take a couple of weeks, and I beat in 3 sittings on the hard setting. Some levels took two or three tries to figure it out, but most only took one go.

SUMMARY:
I'd recomend the game for Matrix fans, and for a gamer who's looking for an rpg, that involves a car chase and a fair multiplayer section, that rivals the actual game settings of a normal hand-to-hand combat game such as Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. I'm a little bit dissapointed in it, but I like a game that takes a long time to beat (which I thought Enter The Matrix might, because it's a 2 disc game), so maybe it's just my personal feelings. I'd say it'd be a nice little appreciation gift to a gamer.
To get into actual game play, very enjoyable, you use actual Matrix style moves, and the A.I. is challenging, especially the Agents. When you get into the later stages of the game, you have to fight multiple Smiths, they did the popping out of nowhere fairly well, but the missions they are in require running to certain areas, and if you take a wrong turn, normally two or three are waiting for you and more then likely you die, unless you're good at using focus and siwtching into a punch-punch-kick style of fighting. I'd say the most anooying thing about the game is Smith...if you don't hit him the right way, he picks you up, throughs you, and this takes the most health of a non-weapon assault in the entire game. Rent it, you'll probably beat it within the 5 day rental time.

THE GOOD:
this is the Game i have been waiting for for a long time. The matrix is over all the most anticipated movie and game of all time next to you george lucus fans. I have play many games based on the movie sorts and none have even come close to how well thaught up and %^&$#n wicked this game is. the graphics are amazing, the freedom in the over all game is cool. The conrols get some getting use to but they are well spread out. I like how they intertwined a soundtrack in with the game while you are playing it. this one Iam glad I preordered it.. cuz i know within the next few months it will be a hard game to find much like vice city.

THE BAD:
the controlls take some geting use to. but after you are use to them.. Just follow the white rabbit down the rabbit hole...

SUMMARY:
As a gammer I would have to say that Enter the matrix is a must buy, this kinda game you just can't rent and excpect to get alot out of it over a period of a few days... Their are alot of minor details that are implicated into the game that allow you to do much more then just follow a path and hope to get a cut scene and then just beat the game. trust me.. this game will never end..Have fun and Enjoy your copy of Enter the Matrix
