THE GOOD:
The graphics are good.

THE BAD:
It gets boring kind of fast. I'm more of a Zelda person.

SUMMARY:
I really liked the areas with the Ringwraith and when you're fighting all those orcs. That's cool. But, I got bored kind of fast. You just fight and fight and fight and... You get the picture. The graphics are pretty good, but the characters's hair and eyes look scary. Legolas isn't as good looking anymore! *cries* Why, Legolas! I loveded you! I loveded you! Anyway, it's really, really hard. Dang! There's these orcs that just come after you, and I just run away in fear, knowing I can't beat them after having lost literally twenty times at the least. I found this weird glitch, too. The orcs with the bombs attached to their backs, sometimes huge ones come that are floating a few feet off the ground. They absolutely terrify me, until I shoot them with an arrow, and they blow up. It's fun when you get really good and are killing everything all fancy-like. Like when you knock an orc down, then stab them before they can get back off. And that area where the orcs are climbing up the ladders. It's fun to kick over a ladder and watch the orc fall to its death. Mwahahaha! Anyway, if you like killing stuff over and over and over again, this is the game for you. If you want a game where something actually happens, get Zelda instead.

THE GOOD:
~The movie turns into the game (cut scenes)
~The cool combos
~Get to be one of the 3 (Legolas, Gimli and The soon to be king)
~The sounds and music

THE BAD:
~It will get tiresome
~It will get repetitive
~Quick to finish
~Bad replay value
~Short
~Just annoying

SUMMARY:
Well this is the game that is form the legendary movie The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers. The game will start you off with the frist part of the first movie, then all of a sudden with out you even going into menu, you will immediatly get into the game fighting, in a way it is an interesting way to start off your game, but then again it is annoying.

As you go through the game, you will fight of hordes of eneimes such as orks. In some levels you will even encounter such things as bosses, like the cave troll, in the first movie. You will advance through the game to qucikly as this is an extremely short game. By one hour into the game, you should have finished the game, because of this, this game has really bad replay value and you might not want to play much of it after you have finished. The game will also get really repetitive as it is just hacking and slashing and it will get really tiresome.

As you go through the game you can either play as one of the three charcters. Each of these characters have their own moves and more moves can be attained by getting high combo bonuses. These combo bonuses lets you buy certain moves for the character, (this is the only thing that adds to replay value). Combo points can be attained by killing enemies in a combo. Five hits could get a high score when one won't get you very much.

The graphics are not great, but they are not bad, they are at an ok level for you to play in. Though the atmosphere of the game is very dull and dreary and will make you want to play something else. The sound in the game is excellent and very sharp, it is quite pleasing. The music is at an exceptional standard, but don't forget, it is the music form the great movie we all love.

Overall this is not entirelly a good game, it's passable, though it is best for a rental, if you love lord of the rings you may not be to dissapointed, but I recommend that every one will rent this before you buy, just to be safe.

THE GOOD:
  • Great graphics
  • Levels inspired by the films
  • It's LOTR, innit?

    THE BAD:

  • Not very challenging
  • Frodo's random banter

    SUMMARY:
Here we go; finally, a pretty good film license game. After the disappointment that was Finding Nemo, I decided to have a go on this.

To start off, it has the 'start' of The Fellowship which makes you wonder "Why did I spend Ł30 on a game that plays the DVD -_-", but then brings you into the action straight away. Good so far.

But then it strikes you, you basically just have to hit A & Y to win most fights. And a bit of B & a little bit of L but not much, it's usually A & Y to attack. Kay, that'll give you muchos in the finger strain and for psycho gamers (like me), will make 'em a bit bored after 20 minutes.

Hey, the rest of the game is pretty much perfect. The graphics are nicely done, and the levels look like they did from the film. Even if you hate Frodo & his escapades with Samwise to destroy the Ring, you're bound to find some entertainment in this game.

(BTW, the amusing thing I just found is how I rated this higher than all the Sonic games I've reviewed)

    THE GOOD:
Great graphics, awesome gameplay, great moves, and lots of fun to kill the enemies. I liked the fact that you could buy upgrades, and more moves for your character. Levels are really fun too. I love the Weathertop level, where you battle the Ringwraiths. (you get to light them on fire)

    THE BAD:
Too short. Needs more variety; all you do is battle Orcs, Urak-Hai, Trolls, and a boss at the end of every level. It would have been fun to do other things. (like explore villages; find things; interact with NPC's) A bit choppy; they try to rush the story too fast, and it could have been slowed down. I suggest seeing both movies, before playing this game, because you'll definently get confused.

    SUMMARY:
LOTR: The Two Towers video game, is overall very fun. The game starts out, playing battles from LOTR: FOTR, as Aragorn tells a re-cap to Eowyn, at Helm's Deep, of what they've all been through so far. After he's finished telling the past; it's time to fight in the present in the great battle of Helm's Deep. The game has entertained me, but I do not recommend buying it, unless you're a hardcore LOTR fan. Renting it would be smart. The game is VERY quick, and short. However, I've never had so much fun killing something in a game...well, except for Goldeneye and Devil May Cry. *grins*

    THE GOOD:
Great graphics, awesome characters and stages, great weapons

    THE BAD:
This game is too short and easy and boring

    SUMMARY:
This game is ok, but it could have used some improvements, like it could have been longer and it could have been more fun to play, but this game also has great graphics, and cool characters and great gameplay, and since it is for the Gamecube, it makes this game even better.

    THE GOOD:
The way the cinematics fit in with the game-play was cool. The gameplay was totally different depending on which character you chose.

    THE BAD:
The graphics could have been better.

    SUMMARY:
Some of the combos were a little funky to do the first time you tried them, but it was an awesome game because it was challenging with out being impossible. The soundtrack was amazing and that made it so much better.

    THE GOOD:
Well... to put it in words this game is great great fighting if that is what you want in a game the graphics are o.k. everyone else is saying the graphics are AWSOME, you could say that but its not the graphics that capture the game, its the picture there are so many colors and the scene is almost just like the movie.

    THE BAD:
This game is short like Star Fox Adventures, when you beat the game it gives you some codes(cheats) I don't see why you guys like cheats, all it does is take away what the money you spent for some it will be way to easy because you cheated. No cheating I don't see why you should.

    SUMMARY:
This game is basic. It only has 12 levels but is very cool. The first level... you have to "kill" the nuzgul (ringwreaths) on weather top. once you beat this game you'll unlock several things that you must do. But all in all this game is worth your money. If your just planing to cheat, don't get it.

    THE GOOD:
    Great graphics (they really used the NGC to it's full power); Great voices done by the REAL actors from the movies;

    THE BAD:
I am with EVERYONE ELSE, The Breached Wall level is the death of ALL things good (just like Rap music )

    SUMMARY:
NOTE TO EVERYONE THAT HAS POSTED A REVIEW BEFORE ME: You CAN replay levels, after you've beaten the game (so obviously no one has done that)
