THE GOOD: -Some really impressive graphics. -Classic + new Bond music works great in this 007 game. -Great new features that help make the game fun and less boring. -One of the best multiplayer games in the 007 series. -New weapons and vehicles to excite the player. -Great controls -Differs from the movie in some ways.THE BAD: -Can't skip scenes. -Too easy. -Multiplayer could have been online and a little better. SUMMARY: Introduction 007 From Russia with Love is based off of the second 007 movie. The game is about James Bond going to collect the Lektor device and as always running into allot of trouble getting their. I can't say to much on how close to the movie it is because I don't remember much of it. But some people said it's too far from the movie but I as long as the point and story of the movie gets by it doesn't really matter. Actually I think it's better they stray from the movie a bit because for those who haven't seen the movie it won't be spoiled, and for those of us who have will have experienced something new or unexpected which would make the game better than being exactly like the movie.
New Additions 007 From Russia with Love is a fantastically fun game, full of action, adventure, stealth, cars, and new content. Stuff like: upgrading weapons, purchasing multiplayer characters, galleries, and special media with interviews with the infamous Sean Connery, two new Bond girls, and a behind the scenes making of the game. As well as adding in a new mission select screen where it's map instead of the normal mission select modes. You can also change your outfit any time during the game for a different appearance in each mission. The new content is great and adds enough to make fans that are bored with the series come back to love this new and great game.
First Impressions The game starts out at a party where the mayor's daughter is kidnapped by some villains and it's up to Bond to rescue her. By first impressions you'll either like the game or you won't, but the presentation is pretty good, mainly because you can fly in a jet pack on the first mission though. There are much more interactions with the environments that you can do now, like search through file cabinets, jump/climb/vault on or over objects. Allot has changed but not enough to be a totally different game than the previous 007 title which works better than in most games like Resident Evil 4.
Multiplayer In Everything or Nothing when fighting against other players the camera was a top down perspective, but in this game it's a behind the back camera view. The nice addition of vehicles add allot more mayhem to the scene as well. Plus there are stage traps that you can kill your opponents with like in Mortal Kombat. Multiplayer was greatly improved upon but would have been better with online play.
Conclusion 007 From Russia With Love beats Everything or Nothing in almost everyway. From multiplayer to the new changes made to the game to the graphics and then to how the game mixes the old 007 music with new music. Though the game may seem like one of the easiest 007 game it can be challenging at times and it's being easy is both good and bad because some people like easy game and others don't. This game is great I love it and I'm sure you will to if you liked Everything or Nothing or any third person shooters. |
