The great things about this game is that you get to play the story mode co-operatively with 3 other friends.THE BAD:
The bad thing about this game is that it's SO hard to beat, and even my sister and I TOGETHER can't get past the first level! AAAAAARRRRRRGHHHH! SUMMARY:
Digimon World 4 is a fighting game, suitable especially for 4 players. The story says that you're a new Digital Security Guard, and have to investigate why access to the real world has been terminated, as well as a new mysterious server being discovered. At the beginning, you can choose whether to play for Agumon, Veemon, Guilmon, or the new Digimon, Goromon, as well as a name for it (it can be your own.)
Please take large precaution, though. Never play this game on your own! It's best to play the game with two friends, or three; often, you'll find your Digimon retreating away from the crowd of hard-to-beat enemies. Which is true, because my sister and I often find ourselves running away. LOL.
Anyway, navigating the main area can be pretty hard, and it'll take some time getting used to, so there'll be a map in the manual (page 13,) which should be included with the game. The home server, where you start out and can access all the different areas. It has a shop area, lobby, and other cool areas to explore!
