If you enjoy the Pokemon games then you might enjoy Dragon Warrior/Quest Monsters. Over hundreds of monsters to defeat and recruit to your team, you can breed them as well, battle with them and train them up, etc.

If you are a fan of one of the Pokemon games then I'd recommend you try out Dragon Warrior Monsters, and vice versa. Certainly both great game series.
