THE GOOD:
Super highly addicting RPG gameplay.
Keeps you busy for ages.
Graphics, for the most part, look pretty good.
Catchy soundtrack.

THE BAD:
Can get boring after long periods of time.
Some of the Pokemon look very, very weird.
Some Pokemons' cries sound very, very annoying.
Feels outdated by today's standards.

SUMMARY:
Lastability: 8/10.
GOTTA CATCH EM ALL, GOTTA CATCH EM ALL! GOTTA CATCH EM ALL, GOTTA CATCH EM ALL! However this gets tiring and boring after some time.
Graphics: 9/10.
Black and lime FTW! The overall graphics look mighty impressive, but the Pokemon sprites themselves look pretty odd...GOLBAT, YOU FREAK THE SHIT OUT OF ME!
Sound: 8/10.
It's catchy and it's not annoying (or isn't too annoying by today's standards). What more could you ask for? Some of the Pokemon battle cries are quite annoying though, and at 8-bit quality, it really shows. It's more improved at 16-bit...

THE GOOD:
Lots of Pokemon to catch, Rumors, and nice Pokemon.

THE BAD:
Graphics, color, there is more than lv 100, can't catch mew, have to trade, can't walk in diagnol, all color are same.

SUMMARY:
This game is really fun, but I didn't like color and some Graphics, and there is some Pokemon that doesn't exist, and that Pokemon screwed up my screen. you should buy this game even though this game is really really old(I mean it). It's really fun but it's really hard, if you are the first pokemon player, you have to try some other pokemon version. Well, this one is not compared with japense version and English version. It's same, and there is no way to get Mew unless Gameshark, you know, game shark is cheating and I pick on cheaters alot. That's all of my reviews. reviewed by Megacool999.

THE GOOD:
Lots of Pokemon to catch, challenging first time, playable over and over and it hardly gets boring, useful on a rainy day, lots of good cheats for it.

THE BAD:
Select button can't get you on the bike, not enough pokemon to catch, not good graphics, some Pokemon aren't worth the hassle to gat them. (e.g. Porygon)

SUMMARY:
This isn't bad for their first try, but I think Pokemon Yellow is better. I think some Pokemon are just pointless to even have made up at all, like Ditto. This actually is a pretty good game because I must have finished the game at least 5 times and I am still not bored with it and find something new every time.
Anybody who hasn't played this game does not know what they are missing! Even though the game is very low in graphics and other things, I still say that this has high interest level.(this is starting to sound like a book review) By now I could probably finish the whole game in a day if I played...

THE GOOD:
Just like Pokemon Blue: I have alot of fond memories of this game. In 6th grade, the year was 1999, and I was another pokemon addict, huddled into room 120 during recess, along with my fellow pokeholics, and what were we doing? we were playing this game, and trading pokemone cards, that's what! It was a wonderful era. I had lots of friends, everyone liked me, I wasn't top dog, but I was the most helpful and generous, and all thanks to this game, that got me hooked. This game doens't have graphics, nor the best story ever, but it's got enough good stuff to give me a fond childhood memory. The story offers you the ability to have almost all the pokemon without trading with other people with the game, and you can have them all evolve, ect. There are interesting bosses to fight, side-quests to go on, and places to explore. The replayability is infinite.

THE BAD:
This game lacked graphics and a great plot, but seeing as how it really isn't an RPG we...

THE GOOD:
Its a good RPG. I like first person shooters and RPG's. Its got a rival and its not to hard but kind of hard..I like a good challenge.

THE BAD:
The colors weren't good when you put it on your GBC...but hey! Its cool when you have the negitaves on it.

SUMMARY:
This is so awesome. Its fun and a it takes a bit of time to beat. There are some very useful cheats Theres a surprise in it if you get this game. (its a mew!) But you gotta come to the cheats section to see how to get it. My friends use gamesharks. When I show them my mew and I tell them i don't use a gameshark BOY WILL THEY BE SURPRISED! I love this game. I have a beast time playing it and so will you.If I were you youd be out at the store paying a reasonable price! Now get to the stores and buy it! So! 5 STARS BABY!...

THE GOOD:
- Lots of pokemon to catch and train.
- Mew is in the game and you can catch him.
- The game never gets boring.
- The game is challenging.

THE BAD:
- The graphics aren't that good.
- The game can get frustrating.

SUMMARY:
The game is great and its a lot fun. The game never seems to get boring because there are so many pokemon to catch and to train. The best part is that they have Mew in the game and you can actually catch him. The game level is ok but sometimes the game can get frustrating because some of the battles are hard to make it through. The only thing that I hate is that you can get lost pretty easy in the caves. Most of the pokemon are in the game but there are couple that aren't in the game but they can be found in the blue version. Overall this game is good and there are lots of things to do so you will be at it atleast for couple of months. The game is totally worth buying.

Pokemon red
The first pokèmon game ever to be released for Gameboy Color. The first of many introductions ot the world of Pokèmon, and it is a very good one as well.
When you start a new game you are in the town of Pallet and about to start your very own Pokèmon adventure. To do thatyou must have a pokèmon, which a certain Professor Oak helps you with. Once you've got a pokèmon your adventure can really start. The entire storyline is simply amazing. Not many wouldcome up with the idea to catch monsters using a specific ball, and then train them to become your loyal companions. The idea in itself is simply magnificent.
The first few days you'll be completely hooked playing Pokèmon Red. The start is so facinating for new players that I seems immpossible to lay the game away. And when you capture your second pokèmon, all by yourself, you really start loving the game. It has nomerous possibilities and ways to be finished. All is decided what...

THE GOOD:
You can catch Growlithe and Mew. It is very addictive.

THE BAD:
Missingno messes up the game badly.

SUMMARY:
It's just like the Blue Version, with a different name and different Pokemon to catch. But if you have this game, don't use the Missingno glitch, because it seriously messes it up. It may even delete the whole game! Very risky. (I myself don't own this game, but I've heard rumors) I think it is a bit more popular than Blue Version. They should release the Green Version to the United States, though, because it would sell like hotcakes!! ^_~ Well, back to the Red Version. I've also heard if you are brave and do the Missingno glitch in this version of Pokemon, than you might run into a trainer in the water who has Missingno and other weird Pokemon like that. (Maybe he has Mew)
