Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: A very detailed game | 4.1 0 comments |
by Extreme Mewtwo from , , | Feb 9, 2003 |
THE GOOD: EverythingTHE BAD: Nothing SUMMARY: I thought this game would be nothing but flying on a broom, but boy was I wrong! When I got this game, I played it, and got sucked right in! This game is worth the money to by, and it's very long, so it will keep you busy for a good while. God luck on the game, believe me, it will be very hard to beat. I would recommend this game to gosh darn everyone. |

Harry Potter Goes Again | 4.5 0 comments |

THE GOOD: The experience when you restart is still there, lots of different side-quests, rewards when all cards from a category are collected, etcTHE BAD: The lack of sickles when you play the second time around, and the lack of variety in items (near the beginning, almost right until the end) SUMMARY: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets... It's not a whole lot different from the first Harry Potter game, but not quite the same. You follow Harry about much like you would in the first game, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Personally, I think the graphics are amazing, though some people would beg to differ. As for those who don't think so, all of you get a grip eh! We're not playing N64 or PS2...Gameboy game graphics usually suck! The music is based on Harry Potter music, and the annoying little tune that all gameboys play definately gets stuck in your head. Hermione and Ron occasionally join your party! You can equip them with items, but then they take off when you're done with them. You might want to make sure you're going to get them back again before you let them run off with your expensive items! All new characters and fights! There's even a spell to tell you what their stats are (such as weaknesses and strengths). Unfortunately, when you beat the Basilisk and start the game over, you DON'T get to keep your sickles. They're gone, niche, poof. You also beat this game a lot quicker, in a few hours even! This isn't a bad thing though, because you PLAY AGAIN! This is the beauty of getting to keep your experience points and trading cards! I am a major cheat/walk-thru freak. I can barely beat any games without SOMETHING. (Like Zelda, still working on that) This is one of the games you don't need a cheat for, but it still challenges your intellect and such. These are only some of the features, but I would say the most important ones. This game is awesome, and the first day I seen it sitting in the store (It was said not to come out until later that week), I bought it. I am DEFINATELY glad that I did... This is one of the best gameboy games I have ever played, although I would recommend buying the first Harry Potter. (If you can only have one) |
