Great game! | 4.0 0 comments |
by Dark Dom from Christchurch, , New Zealand | Sep 27, 2004 |
THE GOOD: - 100 new cards updated from Worldwide ed. - Lots more characters, eg. Bonz, Tristan, Simon. - Great battle style, you no longer have to manually draw a card.
THE BAD: - Really hard to start off. It gives you the most @#$% cards at the start of the game, although it gets easier. - Is extremly SLOW in batles unless u hold down L and R at the start, to speed it up. - They made Tea to hard at the beggining! Shes supposed to SUCK! SUMMARY: Awesome game! Only really good for YUGIOH card lovers like me! It's a bit frustrating, because you can play it for hours and hardly make any progress! But once you beat ALL duelists 20 times each, you unlock ALL cards so then the game becomes fun. The duelists are ALOT smarter than worldwide ed. They don't attack your face down monsters if they have a good monster. I find that most computer people CHEAT! They have 3 raigeki's and 3 harpies feather dusters! I give this game a 4. Buy it today! |

THE GOOD: Wonderfull Music
Tons of cards to collect
Lots of eople to duel so you can be the ultimate duelest
Playing it on the gameboy player YEAH!THE BAD: Graphis stink on the gameboy player
chances of getting an egyption god card is 1,000,000 to 1.
You never get a good card in the packs you buy! SUMMARY: You are in the world of yu-gi-oh. Your job is to battle other duelists to become the ultimate duelest, to do so you must start by playing your friends and family for training. And after that the real fun starts (but i cant tell ya the real fun) The rules of yu-gi-oh are simple, you start with 5 cards. play a monster in def or attack mode or play a magic or trap card. then start your second round where you can attack your opponent. Your power must be higher then his monster defence to work, If he has no monsters on the fiel, you can simply go directly for his life points. first person who gets to 0 life points loses. every attack takes away life points exept if the monster you attack is in defence mode. You can also send monsters into your grave yard for more powerfull monsters. If you dont know how to play yugioh dont buy this game, it will confuse you. |

THE GOOD: Good Graphices for GameBoy Advance Over 1000 cards Long Duels You can speed up the duel(I'll get to that later) Freaking hard duelsTHE BAD: Long Duels No Passwords Not a beginner game. Duelest are very hard to get. Booster packs are hard to get. SUMMARY: Over all I give this game a three point five out of a five. This game is good. Not very good just good. The secret way to speed up the game is holding L or was it R(I haven't played this game in a while)All of the Yu-gi-oh characters are in this game.It goes form sort of easy to freaking hard like all games should.I don't recommed this for begginers because it can become very hard. The graphices are great and you play it jsut like any Yu-gi-oh game. Not as good as the Sacred Card but still good.So I say you should go out and rent the game to see how much you like it. |

THE GOOD: Nothing! Everything in the game is awful, expect the new cards, and they aren't even that great.....THE BAD: Everything! No passwords, the duels are forever, they don't talk, and the computer have like 3 of every card that gets annoying and frustrating. SUMMARY: I'll summarize it for you. Don't buy the game it's awful. First off, the duels are slow like in EDS you have to hold down a button for it to go faster, that gets irratining fast. Secondly, the people don't talk, I mean what's the point of playing, there's no storyline, no nothing. The only thing I liked about the game was the new cards in it, which weren't all that great, I was dissapointed when they didn't have the god cards like in the Sacred Cards. Unlike the Sacred Cards your back to choosing characters and not walking around. I suggest saving your money and buying WorldWide Edition it's much better of a game than this is. |

Yet Another Yu-Gi-Oh! Game | 4.4 0 comments |
by Scramasax from Amesbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England | Apr 12, 2004 |
THE GOOD: The graphics are very good. The sound is cool. NO PASSWORDS! Well over 1,000 cards. Remains true to the real life TCG. No God Cards. (HAHAHAHAHA!)THE BAD: Can get repetitive. NOT a game for beginners. It could take you a while to figure out how to unlock duelists. NO PASSWORDS! SUMMARY: I bought this game a few days ago, and I must say it is brilliant.
Yes, it could be described as a mere remake with 100+ new cards.
But that's the whole point!
Plus, the menu systems have been totally redesigned, and this makes finding the cards you want/need, and finding a decent opponent that much EASIER.
However, with every new game comes a few snags.
The gameplay can get extremely complicated, and sometimes the instruction booklet just doesn't help. Not a game for beginners.
Also, after a while, you may just find yourself getting bored of the same duelling, with the same people, and choose to go outside and ride a bike, or something.
What's the likelihood of that, though? |

THE GOOD: more cards to upgrade your deck and 3 decks so you can have a yami bakura deck, a lector deck, and a kaiba deck all at the same time! THE BAD: not very good promos only okay gameplay can be short. SUMMARY: I bought this game 4 days ago. It is an ok game but there is no real plot, No RPG walking, Some really useful cards that have been missing in the past games are still not in this game. there is still no god cards making it 3-4 GBA games that have not had the 3 best cards in history, but now i think i might be getting off topic, oh well. A pretty much must have for a yu-gi-oh! fan but not for a first game. WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT YOU ARE NOT GETTING MY GAME!!! Uh oh.... this might get ugly ( people about to hurt golden zubat) oh man. -zubat out. |

THE GOOD: New cards in the game for more dueling,Doesn't get boring so easily, and it's realstic to the actual card game.THE BAD: The characters can be really cheap (for example have 3 rageki's and seem to draw the right card at the right time, etc) and the characters look really off. SUMMARY: I got this game a few while ago and it's an ok game. The characters don't look as good as you might think and as I already mentioned the characters seem to have good cards and draw them at the exact time. But the cards are good and much more than in the last games. The egyptian God cards aren't in the game so sorry but stick with The Sacred Cards if you want them. The game will keep you entertained for weeks!!!!! This game is good but I wouldn't get this game if you don't have the others this is the worst Yu-Gi-Oh game made but it's not bad. |
