THE GOOD:
There are a lot of great things about this game! I cannot name them all but here are some of the greatest.

-A very good storyline that is guarunteed to get you hooked to the game once you start playing
-Unforgetable characters such as Rictor, Cybil, and the twins Lethe and Cervante add to the spice of the game.
- The relationship between the hero and Eleanor is heart-warming, and depending on certain actions you take, things that will either make you smile or cry will happen.
- I know the main info page says four/two endings but there are actually more! A grand total of six endings, that require you to replay the game many times to see them all!

THE BAD:
-The Random Battles can sometimes be a pain if you are trying to get to a certain location as fast as possible. Just save before you move so you can always restart if this occurs.
-The high agility ratings of some characters like Ninjas, Archers, and Fairies can get out of control. Not only do they get to move at a much larger range than anyone, they are impossible to hit at the end of the game! To solve this problem, make sure someone in your group has one of the following spells equipped when facing them: Firestorm, Ice Field, Thunder Flare, Crag Crush, or Fiend's Grip.
-The Mental Gauge can be your friend, or foe. Certain units give power-ups or power-downs, just by being in a certain range area. Valkrie's give a +1 bonus to allied males, and Dragoons install a -1 power-down to dragons nearby. If one of your units is suffering from a power-down, you should either counter it by bringing people who can power-up allies, or get them out of the area and have them cast long-range spells. Surprisingly, the Mental Guage can easily change the flow of battle for the better or worse.

SUMMARY:
Alphonse is a fifteen year old Knight of the Holy Lodis Empire(yes, Ogre Battle fans certainly love them by now eh? who goes on a journey with his friend Rictor to help defend the people on an island from the White Fang Troops. However, Alphonse is captured and is taken to a fortress where a man speaks of his "true purpose." What is he talking about?

After the man leaves, and Alphonse is left in the dungeon alone, a woman named Cybil arrives and offers to save him if he becomes her soldier. Alphonse agrees, and after helping Cybil, she tells him of her purpose on the island and more about herself. Later on, he encounters his old friend Rictor who demands that he leaves Cybil and comes with him or else he will become an enemy... will he do it?

This game is purely awesome. I reccommend it to all RPG and Tactic game lovers.

THE GOOD:
Excellent graphics for a handheld, truly a part of the Ogre Battle series

THE BAD:
Only one kind of battle music and only two voices, It would be easier to play this kind of game with a nice soundtrack

SUMMARY:
This game is an excellent "tactics" strategy RPG, and it has everything to keep both fans of Ogre Battle and fans of good strategy RPGs entertained. With all the classes you know and enjoy and a brand new emblem system, the game can really grab you. Atlus spared no detail in this one, and although it could have a better soundtrack it's still an excellent choice for a handheld. There's an extremely detailed system on class changing, and with up to 32 party members, I know you're gonna want to try them all. You can even recruit dragons who can grow and change class later on. I love it, and although I haven't quite finished it yet I have played it for over 50 hours. It may seem to take a long time, but after you get into training and such the time will fly. I recommend it to everyone.

THE GOOD:
Challenging gameplay, detailed graphics, deep battle system.

THE BAD:
Sound is mediocre, battles can get repetative.

SUMMARY:
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis is an incredible strategy RPG/Sim mixing in key elements from Final Fantasy Tactics with what made original Ogre games good.

The depth of the this games battle system is complex. Characters not only have set elements, but have personality alignments, earnable Emblems, and even individual biorhythms. All of these factor into how well your characters will fare in battle, requiring good thougth before, and in battle. As complex as it may sound, running small wars is actually easy to pick up, and possible to master. Good graphics and an above-average story line (not remanisant of most RPG's) make this a must-play game for RPG, battle Sim, or any kind of player. The only faults that are really present are an incredibly dull soundtrack, which can cause you to turn of the sound (no big deal) and the battles can get a little repetative when leveling up, but both of these are easily overlooked.

Save up your money and "strategery" and buy this game as soon as possible.

THE GOOD:
14 job classes, to get some you'll have to do special stuff like to become an Angel Knight you'll need an Ark Angel Feather and you'll need to die in battle and have that charater would have had to been lawfull (holy), 32 different emblems you can earn to increase or decrease your stats based on your actions ( Blood Reign: awarded for those who kill 25 people terrifies enemies within 3 squares of hero, or Dragon Slayer , or Berserker, or War God are just some of the many different and creative emblems you can earn to show that you are the best).A great battle type just the previous Ogre battle on the SNES or for the more recent gamers like Final Fantasy Tactics. Two different endings are obtainable based on your desicions. Creative and amazing enemy designs that rival that of final fantasy tactics. A great multi-player function that allows you to battle others (you can finaly settle those who has the best final fantasy tactics file) or trade items and players.

THE BAD:
Not anything really wrong with the game but some job classes can never be obtained such as beast tamer (kill more then one beast and you can never become one) dragon tamer (kill more then one dragon and you can never become one) Priest (kill more then ten people and you can never become one) the really bad thing is that you need to try every job class to get a certian emblem.

SUMMARY:
Overall the best game boy advance game thats came out so far. Also I could'nt help but remember all the great times I had playing Final Fantasy Tactics while playing this game......Yes Ogre battle fans and FFT fans will definetly want to add this to their RPG collection.
