Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure for the GBA. A remake (NOT a port) of the original Pitfall for Atari 2600.
The game isn’t a port, it’s a compete remake, it does have the classic pits and swings etc. inside it, but it’s a lot different from the original.
This version was also released for Super Nintendo, Sega Mega CD, Sega 32X, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Windows, GBA and finally, Wii Virtual Console.
You start off in the game in the intro screen, Harry Junior goes into a cave, discovers an old artefact, calls his dad, and his dad is taken by a plant. You are then directed to the main menu.
Soundtrack: Perfect Dark (N64) or bust!The soundtrack in the game is quite good. The menu music will remind you a lot of the original Perfect Dark for Nintendo 64. It’s very, very good, but in game, there is no soundtrack, just animal sounds.
