THE GOOD: Whats good is that you can really take control of your gun as if you were holding it and the graphics are way cool. Music is decent and the controls are good. Oh and the Quickplay! Quickyplay is good!
THE BAD: BAD!? Not in this review, mate.
SUMMARY: Do you have a boring trip coming up? This game will make it UN-boring! with Quickplkay you can skip to your favourite level. After awile you actually feel like a soldair sneaking up on Germans and shooting big things. Thats why I gave it a perfect 5 - it makes you feel like your in the game. I still haven't finished it yet but I've only had it for a day, and I got to save it up for the BORING 2 hours and 30 minute trip we're doing soon. I know this game will entertain me in the car! the graphics are awsome! the music isn't the best but that doesn't matetr because my snobby sisters will want the sound off. But I'd recomend this to any dude - even a Grand dad would like this game! Get the Army Dude feeling man - get this game!
Twii_Lights price range: $10-30: The shopkeeper is offically crazy $30-50: Totally worth it man $50-80: Still a good deal! $80-100: This is the price I got it and I'm satisfied $100-140: Look for better prices $140+: Naa...
THE GOOD: Great graphics, great sound, great missions, great gameplay, great controls
THE BAD: Sometimes you wished your character would walk a bit faster to dodge bullets etc
SUMMARY: Oh my word! Firstly one superb game falls on my lap which I thought couldn't be topped (Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga - check my review), then along comes another for all you gamers hungry to shoot enemy scum. Remember Rainbow Six and Sum Of All Fears - I liked both games but they had flaws. RS had the problem of over doing the controls which made it fiddly to control you and your teammates in the heat of battle. For SOAF they listenned to players complaints of this and removed some of the controls, so you couldn't duck, and you couldn't seperate your teammates - equally frustrating in my book. The best part of both games was the lone wolf mode, where you didn't have to worry about stupid teammates getting in the way, or remembering too many controls. Now we come to Medal Of Honour Infiltrator. What this game does is borrow the same kind of gameplay and does away with the team, leaving you with nice easy controls and superb gameplay. You duck automatically when you stay still by the way (why didn't the programmers of RS think of that?!) The missions are very involving and challenging (you can save after completing each one) and have great replay value. There are missions where you just go in all guns blazing, and there are ones where you have to use stealth to sneak up to guards and knock them out with the butt of your gun (the game automatically decides for you to use the butt or shoot depending on how close you are - another great idea to save on controls). There are at least one level where you have a changed view. The second level for instance sees you looking out from a boat to the beach with a crosshair on the screen, shooting soldiers and tanks to protect the boat you are on (looks like the old Operation Wolf game if anyone remembers that) and is done really well. So far, the only thing I can say against this game is that you don't walk very fast, and when you have a group of soldiers spraying bullets at you, it's hard to dodge them, so you just kill the soldiers asap and hope to come across a health pack soon (which there are plenty). Another Superb game for your GBA. Anyone looking for a good shooter should get this. The only problem I have now is finding time for this and Mario! GO BUY!!!
