THE GOOD: Based around the original Metroid. Good aspects in-game.
THE BAD: The first game was great but i think they changed it a little too much.
SUMMARY: Metroid: Zero Mission is most likely going to be the last Metroid game produced for the Gameboy Advance. The storyline is based on the original Metrois with a few bonuses added in. The graphics have been upgraded so much that you wouldn't even relise that this was the original metroid. The sound has mostly changed but still has that old sound from the first Metroid. The game itself is quite hard to play through especially towards the end when the strategy puzzles start to get really hard and can sometimes get frustrating. The layout of the screen is practicly the same as Maetroid Fusion so it's pretty good.
Overall i'd say this is a really great game for all you retro game players out there.
THE GOOD: The graphics are very good(even for the GBA!!!) the sound is very well done,GALLERY!!!!!, the levels are big, it's not too easy-it's not to hard!! all the powers are very cool and you get....wait for it.... wait for it....ok im tired of typing...THE ORIGINAL METROID!!!!
THE BAD: The lasting appeal isn't too long, just because you get the original metroid that doesn't mean that it's fun or anything. After i was playing the game i went to the original Metroid i tried using the Zero mission abilities and i kept dying!!!! ARGGHHHH!!!!
SUMMARY: Hey once again!! Just playing Metroid:Zero Mission. This is a great game!! The graphics are so well done. (Nintendo should be proud!!) The audio for this game is very good!! But there are some negatives. The lasting appeal for this game isn't very long. You just shoot things...solve a puzzle...shoot more things... you get it right? Overall i highly recomend this game so go and buy...
Metroid Zero mission is the second, and most likely last, Metroid game for Game Boy Advance. The story in the game is not new, as Zero Mission is a remake of the original Metroid game on NES. Zero Mission is developed in-house by Nintendo and is as for now the last Metroid game not developed by Europe based Retro Studios.
Gameplay
More similar to Super Metroid than to Metroid Fusion, the game follows bounty-hunter Samus Aran in her chase to destroy Mother Brain and the Space-Pirats who have been bothering the public for a vert long time. Samus is the governments last effort to stop the pirates as other attempts to destory them have all failed. In Zero Mission you travel around in the different sectors/dungeons of the planet Zebes. The Reciepe is as in any other Metroid game; As you play, Samus gets more and more abilities like the morph-ball who lets you transform into a ball to go trough small places, Missiles who are stronger than...
THE GOOD: I Love samus and all of her games including super smash bros. melee (im assome at that game)
THE BAD: My game got erased
SUMMARY: Not better than fusion but i love this game. Samus is back but she has a mission........called Zero mission. she has to destroy the civilization of these kind of monster things. SAmus also gets new powers and inhansments. You also get to play samus without her suit!...............Well not till a while after beating the monster kraid and mother brain. (this is just for the 300 charecter th ing)Lalalalalalalalalalalala! Lalalalal alalalalalalala. this is fun,La lalalala lalalalalalalala!!!!! Still, saying........LALALALALALALALALAlalala. !!!!!!!!!.lalalala lalala....l a.la........la.la....geting...tired...of .......typin...g.THIS GAME IS THE BOMB!!!!GET IT! WELL, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!!!!!?
There are many things to do, like exploring, killing enemies, etc...
The cool bosses, especially Riddley and Mother Brain.
The addition of a new area after beating the normal one from Metroid (NES).
The last boss: the Riddley Robot.
Amazing graphics for a GBA game.
THE BAD:
Getting 100% of the items is pretty though.
It's hard to figure out where life containers are.
Some bosses are difficult to beat the first time.
SUMMARY: Metroid Zero Mission is a great remake of Metroid (NES) for GameBoy Advance. As you see, there are not many important bad things, so I'm sure you will like this game a lot if you like the Metroid series. If you want to complete this game with a 100% score, you will spend your time playing this game a lot of hours. It's addicting too!
THE GOOD: Better graphics, story, music, areas.
More bosses, places to explore, items to collect, challenges to complete.
THE BAD: Too short
SUMMARY: Metroid Zero Mission is a more detailed explanation of what happened to Samus on her first trip to Zebes in the original Metroid. The game is a remake with the graphics that made Super Metroid so great.

This game comes with new and larger areas to explore, old and new bosses, a more advanced soundtrack, more powerups and new items to collect, and also several unlockable features including a Hard Mode, Sound Test, and two Picture galleries, which you can add to by completing many different challenges. You can also play the Original Metroid upon completing the game. The Mapping system is back as well, which makes it easier to remember where you've been and where you should go.

This game is every bit the Original and more. It has become much more...
THE GOOD: Visuals, gameplay, music, unlockables, etc.
THE BAD: Samus' tacky under-the-helmet hairdo
SUMMARY: GBA provides a fitting home for the original Metroid, considering it's the game that gave birth to the whole genre of exploration-based action-adventure (we'd never have the three great GBA castlevanias without it). But Zero Mission isn't merely a portable replacement for that classic 8-bit Metroid cartridge you foolishly sold at a yard sale (though thats in here, too)-- its a remake that fleshes out every aspect of the landmark title. Veterans of the old-school classic will feel instantly at home back on planet Zebes:You start out on the familiar pedestal in Brinstar, run to the left to grab the Morph Ball, and set out in search of the Long Beam. But don't think you know exactly what to expect--Zero Mission's newly organic environments pack a ton of surprises:hundreds of tricky secrets, unexpected (and challenging) boss...
THE GOOD: Well lets see. The graphics, controls, story, music, sound effects, power ups, the fact that it is METROID, and the bonuses.
THE BAD: umm well... uhhhh... hmmm... length if you aren't trying to fill up your gallery. Which I am.
SUMMARY: Well let's see. BOOM this is so great. I loved it. from the start, when samus opens her eyes, and you start playing, to the end where... play it if you want to find out the end :~), but this is a fantastic game. improved graphics, enhanced soundtracks, new mazes, it is incredible. And the bonus features... when I beat the game and onlocked the original Metroid, I was jumping and singing. Which wasn't good, 'cause it was 12 at night, and I woke up my sister.... but it was worth it. I CAN PLAY THE ORIGINAL METROID IN THE CAR!!!!!!! And Zero Mission! On the same cartridge! This game is a must have. I mean it. Go. Buy. Now. If you already have it, buy another one, that's 3 more file!! :~D
THE GOOD: Everthing, the sound the graphics and everything about the game. The music in this game rocks.
THE BAD: the length of the game. It's a little shorter than other metroid games.
SUMMARY: Everyone knows that Metroid: Zero Mission is a remake of Metroid ( NES ) but this game hardly deserves to be called a remake. This game should be defined as a more detailed look at how it all started. Samus, guided by a few cutscenes and the Chozo, explores Zebes like you have never seen or heard before. Tacking down Mother Brain has never been more fun or looked better. This game includes 3 modes ( easy, normal and hard ). It also includes photo galleries and a few other extras. Though short, this is one of Samus's greatest adventures. I would buy this game without a thought. The only downfall of Metroid: Zero Mission was that it is a really short game.
